SHUR/Cut.... Motorized Specimen arm has a 70 mm vertical stroke and a 20 mm motorized horizontal extension. Powerful over-dimensional cross roller-bearing guideways provide exceptional stability Instrument Display Panel SC2500 All models come standard with our most popular blade holder that accepts both high and low profile blades. Lateral displacement feature facilities the use of the entire disposable blade without moving the actual blade in the holder. The SC2500 has the same motorized trimming & sectioning thickness setting features as the SC3500 including one-speed specimen-arm advance & return; but, for the cost conscious budget without the added benefits of the specimen-arm position memory feature and the ergonometric hand-pad controller included with the SC3500. The control panel is positioned on the left front of the instrument for fingertip switching between sectioning & trimming functions. To increase or decrease the thicknesses, simply press the + and - signs accordingly. The specimen arm is easily advanced & returned by pressing the appropriate direction arrows. All models also display the number of revolutions and the total amount advanced since the last reset. When switching from TRIM to SECT, the counter automatically resets.
