Cstom fnctions For added convenience, the installer can program one cstom fnction. A cstom fnction allows cstomers to complete complex tasks with fewer keystrokes. For example, a cstom fnction can bypass a grop of points and arm the system, allowing the ser to perform this fnction with one easy command. Installers can se cstom fnctions to control a particlar room. Cstomers activate a cstom fnction with a keypad, with a keyfob, by falting a point, or atomatically as a schedled event (SKED). Passcode secrity Two-man rle. Reqires two people with two niqe passcodes to be present at the time of opening. Early ambsh. Allows sers to verify that the facility is safe by reqiring two passcodes. The control panel sends a dress event if the ser does not enter the passcode a second time after inspecting the premises. Dal athentication. Reqires two forms of identification before processing certain system commands, inclding trning off the system and opening doors. A standard system ser mst have a passcode, a credential (token or card), and appropriate command athority permissions assigned in the door and keypad s assigned area. Easy exit control The control panel changes from one On (armed) state to another withot trning off (disarming) the system. For example, if yo change the state from Part On (Perimeter Arm) to All On (Master Arm), the control panel complies and reports the change. Easy Exit Control redces the nmber of keystrokes, simplifying system operation. Programmable passcode-controlled men list Passcode-controlled shortcts provide sers only with the options and information pertinent to them, simplifying system operation. Monitor Delay/Delayed Response Create a special point index that delays the reaction of a point for a specified time (p to 1 hor in mintes and seconds). This delay provides time for the specified condition to reset before activating any annnciation. The system can annnciate locally and send a report, if desired. When the system is armed, the point can respond like a normal point providing dal fnctionality. Use this featre to ensre that perimeter doors have not been propped open, or to monitor critical areas sch as compter rooms and safes, for example. System sers The system spports p to 10 sers. Each ser can have a personalized passcode, a wireless keyfob, and a credential to control the system. Yo can assign passcodes to one of 14 cstomized athority levels that can be restricted to operate only dring certain times. Programmable primary and secondary langage by ser and keypad; select from English, Spanish, French, and Portgese. Commnication formats The control panel prioritizes and sends reports to for rote grops. Network commnication ses the Modem4 commnication format, whereas phone

The control panel can optionally commnicate with a Conettix D6600 or a Conettix D6100IPv6 Commnications Receiver/Gateway sing a B426 Conettix Ethernet Commnication Modle or a Conettix Plg-in Celllar Commnicator (B440/B441/ B442/B443). Using Conettix IP commnication offers a secre path that incldes anti-replay/anti-sbstittion featres and provides enhanced secrity with AES 256-bit encryption (sing Cipher Block Chaining (CBC)). The control panel spports Domain Name System (DNS) for both remote programming and central station commnication. DNS provides ease of se, eliminating the need to se static IP addresses as yor reporting destination, and accommodates a simple soltion for central station disaster recovery. IP Setp is available via the keypad Installer men and the remote programming software, eliminating the need to se complicated internet programming tools sch as ARP and Telnet. Commnication paths The control panel accommodates p to for separate phone and for separate network paths to the central station receiver. When resetting alarms or trning a system on and off, the ser is identified by name and nmber. Personal notification The control panel can send text messages and emails for personal notification over Ethernet or sing a celllar commnicator. Yo can configre p to 16 destinations sing a combination of celllar phone nmbers and email addresses. The control panel sends notifications in the ser s programmed primary langage. Firmware pdates The system allows remote firmware pdates throgh Remote Programming Software (RPS) sing the RPS Firmware Update Wizard. The Firmware Update Wizard ses the on-board USB connection or the on-board Ethernet (IP) connection (the on-board Ethernet port is exclded on E versions) to transmit firmware pdates. The control panel can optionally receive firmware pdates from RPS sing a B426 Conettix Ethernet Commnication Modle or a Conettix Plg-in Celllar Commnicator (B440/B441/B442/B443). Notice! Schedled events (SKEDs) The internal clock and calendar start a schedled event (SKED). A SKED performs fnctions sch as trn on or off, relay control, or point bypassing.
