Welcome You are about to see how quick, easy, and delicious healthy eating can be! Please read all the safety information, warnings, and instructional material found in this booklet before getting start. Set your machine on a dry, level surface. Make sure that the power switch is set to Off, and that the machine is plugged into a grounded electrical outlet. Then, follow the cleaning instructions on page 5 to prepare your machine for use. Always clean your machine before the first use. Warning To avoid the risk of serious injury when using your blender, basic safety precautions should be followed, including the following. IMPORTANT SAFE GUARDS When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed including the following: outdoor use). 1. Read all instructions. 2. 11. Keep hands and utensils out of container while blending to reduce the risk of severe injury to persons or damage to the blender. A scraper may be used but must be used only when the blender is not running 12. Blades are sharp. Handle carefully. 13. To reduce the risk of injury, never place cutter-assembly blades on base without jar properly attached. 14. Always operate blender with cover in place. 15. The use of attachments, including canning jars, not recommended by the manufacturer may cause a risk of injury to persons. 16. Do not blend hot liquids. 17. This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does notfit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not modify the plug in any way. IMPORTANT: Never run the appliance empty. Caution Blades are sharp! Use extreme caution when handling the blade assemblies. Always hold them by the base of the blade assembly. DO NOT PROCESS HOT FOODS OR HOT LIQUIDS. Do not process food that is hotter than 70. Allow very hot ingredients to cool before processing. This product is not suitable for mixing dry food. Never attempt to remove the jar while the appliance is still running. Warning Never leave the appliance unattended while in use 3

Use caution whenwashing the blade assemblies as theblades are very sharp. 3. Rinse and dry thoroughly. 4. Jars, lids and blade assembly are all dishwasher safe.it is recommended that the lids and blade assembly be placed on the top rack. Ensure that the blade assembly are removed from the jars before placing in the dishwasher. 5. Wipe the motor base clean with a damp cloth. IMPORTANT: Make sure that the motor base is plugged before use. 1. Place the motor base on a clean, dry, level surface such as a counter or table top. 2. Add ingredients to the jar. 4

Turn the jar upside down and place it onto the motor base, aligning the tabs on the jar with the motor base. the unit is ready for use. (Fig. 3) 6. The jar in short intervals to activate. (Fig. 4) 7. Place the Sip & Seal lid onto the jar, twist to seal and enjoy! 10. Make sure that the motor base is unplugged when not in use. Caution Make sure that the motor base is unplugged from the power source before inserting or removing any attachment and before cleaning. DO NOT immerse the motor base into water or any other liquid. 1. Separate/remove all parts from each other. 2. Clean the motor base with a damp cloth and wipe dry. 3. Place jars in the dishwasher. Place the lids and attachments on the top rack. Use caution when handling the blade assemblies as the blades are very sharp. Note You may also wash the jars by filling the jar to the Max fill line with warm water and a drop of dish washing detergent, placing the blade assembly on the jar and pulsing a few times. Do not fill the jar more than Max fill line with water because it will overflow. Once clean, remove the jar from the motor base. Rinse the jar, attachment and lid under running water. Allow all the parts to dry before storing. How to store Secure the power cord underneath the base by wrapping the cord around the cord wrap. Do not place anything on top. Store the jars and the rest of the attachments along side the appliance where they will not be damaged and won t cause a hazard. RESETTING THE MOTOR THERMOSTAT Blender designed a unique safety system which prevents damage to the unit s motor and drive system should you inadvertently overload your appliance. If the appliance is being overloaded, the motor will stop. To reset the appliance, follow the resetting procedure below: 1. Unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet. Remove and empty the jar and ensure that no food is jamming the cutting blades. 2. Allow the appliance to cool for approximately 30 minutes. 3. Re-install the jar onto the base and re-plug the appliance into the electrical outlet. 4. Proceed to use the appliance as before while making sure not to exceed the recommended maximum jar capacities. 6

1 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY This is the only express warranty for this product and is in lieu of any other warranty or condition. This product is warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase. During this period, your exclusive remedy is repair or replacement of this product or any component found to be defective, at our option; however, you are responsible for all costs associated with returning the product to us and our returning the product or component under this warranty to you. If the product or component is no longer available, we will replace with a similar one of equal or greater value. This warranty does not cover glass, filters, wear from normal use, use not in conformity with the printed directions, or damage to the product resulting from accident, alteration, abuse, or misuse. This warranty extends only to the original consumer purchaser or gift recipient. Keep tile original sales receipt, as proof of purchase is required to make a warranty claim. This warranty is void if product is used for other than single-family household use or subjected to any voltage and waveform other than as specified on the label (e.g., 120V~). We exclude all claims for special, incidental, and Consequential damages by breach of express or implied warranty. All liability is limited to amount of the purchase price. Every implied warranty, including any statutory warranty or condition of merchantability or fitness for particular purpose, is disclaimed except to the extent prohibited by law, in which case such warranty or condition is limited to the duration of this written warranty. This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may have other legal rights that vary depending on where you live. Some states or provinces do not allow limitations on implied warranties or special, incidental consequential damages, so tile foregoing limitations may not apply to you. 7
