Using an example of an office of 200 people, we have found that you could save around 600 per year just by swapping the taps you have in the washroom. The innovative FRAMIC (Franke Modular Innovation Cartridge) ceramic selfclosing cartridge enables a stagnation-free, hydraulic control of water flow and thus contributes to ensuring perfect drinking water hygiene. The FRAMIC self-closing mixing cartridge is comprised of four main components: the hydraulic control, the ceramic valve, the water conduction and the ceramic mixing unit. The hydraulic control implements the timecontrolled closing of the self-closing valve. The water flow is reliably regulated inside the ceramic valve. The water conduction forms the interface with the tap housing and is responsible for the function of supplying and dispensing the water inside the tap housing. The mixing of hot and cold water is handled by the ceramic mixing unit. The operation of the FRAMIC cartridge is flow pressureindependent thanks to its media-separating design. The flow duration can be easily adjusted for optimum washing convenience and in accordance with the requirements of the operator. In addition to the version with the mixing function, the FRAMIC cartridge is also available for self-closing valves for connecting to cold water or pre-mixed hot water.

PROGRAMMABLE OPTO-ELECTRONIC SENSOR SYSTEM Electronic remote Franke has developed a uniform electronic assembly for the opto-electronically controlled F3 and F5 taps which can be programmed with various functions and control options, depending on the application. These electronics enable automatic and individually adjustable water hygiene flushing in combination with hygiene units and the starting of thermal disinfection programs for ensuring drinking water hygiene. A new bidirectional remote control is optionally available for setting the respective function parameters and for extracting the statistics data. MANUAL BASIN TAPS Choosing the correct style of taps can depend upon multiple factors including style, finish and functionality. Franke have a whole range of wall mounted and deck mounted taps. These include traditional manual taps, bib taps, lever taps and overhead sprays for use in different applications such as catering environments.
