Handle, Frame & Duster Features QUICK-CONNECT HANDLES AND FRAMES The Quick-Connect mechanism provides for efficient attachment of frames to handles. The dual, opposing finger tabs ensure a secure fit and prevent accidental release of frames from handles. Quick-Connect saves time by speeding up mop assembly and frame changes. HANDLES ERGO ALUMINUM HANDLE The unique shaped grip and ergonomic bend minimize the awkward hand positions used in cleaning with figure 8 motions. This handle also reverses to a vacuum cleaner style push-pull grip for comfortable cleaning of large areas. A telescoping feature allows the handle length to be customized for worker height, then secured in position with a locking ring. FRAMES DUSTERS FRAME CONSTRUCTION All pad holders are constructed from strong, lightweight aluminum. The durable, nylon universal joint provides a full range of motion for efficient cleaning. Rounded plastic end caps help protect walls and furniture. The frame s distinctive trapezoidal shape improves cleaning in corners and hard-to-reach places. The flat profile slides easily under furniture and equipment. REMOVABLE HOOK- AND-LOOP STRIPS Aluminum frames feature removable hook-and-loop strips on the underside for attaching pads. Should they become clogged with lint, replacement strips are available to extend product life. They slide securely into underside channels of the frame and are held in place by removable end caps. FLEXIBLE WAND DUSTER The 20 flexible dusting wand easily conforms to irregular surfaces and wipes them clean of dirt and grime using a 13mm high-pile microfiber dusting sleeve. The Quick-Connect mechanism readily converts this hand-held duster to an extended reach cleaning tool for removing dust and dirt from high places. Sleeves can be removed for laundering and replacements are available. 24 SQUEEGEE FRAME This 24 aluminum frame comes equipped with a unique pull-type squeegee for water and debris collection. Just snap the frame into its locked position and pull the spill forward using the rubber blade. Replacement blades provide a cost efficient way to extend product life. HIGH DUSTER PLUS The high dusting tool features a 180 ratcheting and locking head on a 43 plastic extension handle. A 13mm high-pile sleeve reaches into crevices effectively removing dust, dirt and grime with an electrostatic charge. For best results, launder sleeves between each use and replace when necessary.
58 ALUMINUM HANDLE For the mopping traditionalist, a 58 fixed length, lightweight aluminum handle is also available. It features the Quick-Connect mechanism, an ergonomically shaped hand grip for comfort in use and a rubber handle tip to prevent slippage when leaned against a vertical surface.

ANo, Rubbermaid s original frames are not compatible with the Quick-Connect tool system. However, the original aluminum handles will fit using the special connector nut supplied with each Quick-Connect frame. QDo microfiber flat mop handles conduct electricity? AYes, microfiber handles are aluminum and aluminum is a conductor of electricity. QCan Rubbermaid s microfiber frames and handles be used for cleaning MRI rooms? AYes, these flat mop frames and handles have non-ferrous or non-magnetic construction and therefore are safe for cleaning in MRI rooms. However, we do not recommend their use while the MRI machine is operating. QIf I break or lose a frame end cap, are replacements available? AYes, appropriately sized end caps are packaged in sets and can be ordered as a Component Part. QHow do I clean hook-and-loop strips on the frame when they become clogged with lint? AThere is no longer a need to clean hook-and-loop strips or discard clogged frames. The Quick-Connect frames have replacement strips that slide securely into underside channels. This is an easy and cost-efficient way to extend product life. QCan Rubbermaid aluminum frames and handles be autoclaved? AMicrofiber tools cannot be autoclaved as process temperatures exceed maximum tolerances for many synthetic components.
