Special Details performed by fire personnel: 09.01-05.14: F/F Williams and Chief Clark completed 9 annual inspections and 3 new business inspections. There were 3 businesses that have closed or moved. We also finished checking all the Fire Reports for the month of August and they will be uploaded to the State and Federal Identities this week. 09.02-03.14: Lts. Milner, James Odom attended the Volunteer Firefighter Insurance Company Driver Training - Train the Trainer course at the joint Georgia State Firefighter and Chiefs conference in Macon. 09.16.14: F/F Zavario Johnson taught the Week 2 CERT Class: Community Emergency Response Team at the Senior Center from 6 p.m. 8 p.m. 09.16.14: Melissa Jackson attended weekly staff meeting for United Way Employee Pledge Card distribution. Dense Quick and a representative from the Salvation Army spoke about services United Way is able to provide through community donations. 09.17.14: Engine 5, Engine 3, and HQ crew trained over salvage, overhaul, and reverse lay. 09.17.14: Attended at presentation by Code Red, which offers a call back system for communities used especially during disasters.
