DIRECTIONS FOR USE CROP DISEASE DOSAGE COMMENTS Peach Fruit Decay, Monilinia (Brown Rot), Rhizopus Rot 1.75 kg/ha Apply 18 days and 10 days prior to harvest. Onion and Garlic Pole Beans Maximum rate per year: 5.2 kg/ha White Rot, Sclerotium cepivorum 6 kg/ha Overall Spray: Seeding: Apply Botran 75W 1 to 2 weeks before planting as a coarse spray to the surface of the soil. Use 800 litres of water per hectare and work into the top 4 cm of soil. Sets or Buds: Apply Botran 75W as for seeds except material can be applied just prior to planting. Furrow or Band Spray: sets or buds: Use dosage rate proportional to the rate for overall spray. For example, for rows 33 cm apart and a spray band 17 cm wide, use 4.5 kg/ha of Botran 75W in 400 litres of water. Use low pressure (200 to 275 kpa) and a 50-mesh or coarser screen. Centre the front nozzle in the furrow so that the spray strikes the soil around the sets or buds and the rear nozzle sprays the covering soil as it fills the furrow. Plow to 20 cm and cross-disc treated area prior to seeding sensitive follow-up crops (e.g., spinach or lettuce) to prevent injury. White Mold (Sclerotinia rot) Sclerotinia sclerotiorum 5.1 kg/ha For use in British Columbia only. Begin applications when disease is anticipated and continue at 7- day intervals during periods favourable to development of disease. Direct the spray to obtain good coverage, particularly of the lower half of the plant. Use 800 litres of water per hectare. Do not apply within 2 days of any harvest.

CROP DISEASE DOSAGE COMMENTS Do not feed treated foliage to livestock. Dry and Snap Beans Lettuce Greenhouse Tomatoes Rose and Hydrangea Rose, Geranium and Chrysanthemum White Mold (Sclerotinia) Grey Mold 3.25 kg/ha Begin applications when disease is anticipated, usually as close to full bloom as possible. Repeat as required during periods favourable to development of disease. Direct the spray to obtain good coverage, particularly to the lower half of the plant. Use 800 litres of water per hectare. Do not apply within 2 days of any harvest. Do not feed treated foliage to livestock. Sclerotinia Drop 2.30-3.75 kg/ha Apply a maximum of two applications per year. Apply as a directed spray to the lower portion of the plant and on the soil surface after thinning; make a second application as a foliar application at the rosette state. Apply in 190-950 litres water/ha. Do not apply within 14 days of harvest Stem Canker 1.75 kg/1000 litres Spray stem of plant from ground level to a height of 45 to 60 cm. Repeat weekly or as necessary. Seedlings or newly set transplants may be injured by drenching. Do not apply within 1 day of any harvest. Maximum of 3 applications per year Blight 1.75 kg/1000 Field: Apply prior to lifting for Blight litres 925 g/1000 litres shipment or storage. Stock cuttings or greenhouse plants: Begin when disease is anticipated or first appears. Spray foliage and flowers at 7- to 14- day intervals. During prolonged damp, cool periods apply every 5 to 7 days. Field sprayer application: DO NOT apply during periods of dead calm. Avoid application of this product when winds are gusty. DO NOT apply with spray droplets smaller than the American Society of Agricultural Engineers (ASAE) medium classification. Airblast application: DO NOT apply during periods of dead calm. Avoid application of this product when winds are gusty. DO NOT direct spray above plants to be treated.

Turn off outward pointing nozzles at row ends and outer rows. DO NOT apply when wind speed is greater than 16 km/hr at the application site as measured outside of the treatment area on the upwind side. DO NOT apply by air. DO NOT apply this product through any type of chemigation system. BUFFER ZONES: The bugger zones specified in the table below are required between the point of direct application and the closest downwind edge of sensitive freshwater habitats (such as lakes, rivers, sloughs, ponds, prairie potholes, creeks, marshes, streams, reservoirs and wetlands) and estuarine/marine habitats. Method of Application Buffer Zones (metres) Required for the Protection of: Crop Freshwater Habitat of Depths: Estuarine/Marine Habitats of Depths: Less than 1 Greater than Less than 1 Greater than m 1 m m 1 m All crops 2 1 1 1 Field sprayer* Airblast Peaches 20 2 5 2 (early All others 25 3 10 3 growth stage) Airblast (late Peaches 10 2 4 2 growth All others 15 2 4 2 stage) * For field sprayer application, buffer zones can be reduced with the use of drift reducing spray shields. When using a spray boom fitted with a full shield (shroud, curtain) that extends to the crop canopy or ground, the labeled buffer zone can be reduced by 70%. When using a spray boom where individual nozzles are fitted with cone-shaped shields that are no more than 30 cm above the crop canopy or ground, the labeled buffer zone can be reduced by 30%. COMPATIBILITY: Botran 75W is compatible with wettable powder formulations of captan, zineb, azinphos-methyl, parathion, carbaryl and endosulfan. Normally, Botran 75W can be mixed with other fungicides, insecticides or defoliants formulated as wettable powders. However, combination sprays of Botran 75W and miscible oil formulations of insecticides, particularly organophosphorus compounds, may cause plant injury. Such combinations should be used on a small number of plants before treating large areas. RESISTANCE MANAGEMENT: For resistance management, please note that Botran 75W contains a Group 14 fungicide. Any fungal population may contain individuals naturally resistant to Botran 75W and other Group 14 fungicides. A gradual or total loss of pest control may occur over time if these fungicides are used repeatedly in the same fields. Other resistance mechanisms that are not linked to site of action but specific for individual chemicals, such as enhanced metabolism, may also exist. Appropriate resistance-management strategies should be followed. To delay fungicide resistance: Where possible, rotate the use of Botran 75W or other Group 14 fungicides with different groups that control the same pathogens.

Avoid excessive applications of Botran 75W or other fungicides in the same group in a season. Use tank mixtures with fungicides from a different group when such use is permitted. Fungicide use should be based on an IPM program that includes scouting, historical information related to pesticide use and crop rotation and considers cultural, biological and other chemical control practices. Monitor treated fungal populations for resistance development. If disease continues to progress after treatment with this product, do not increase the use rate. Discontinue use of this product, and switch to another fungicide with a different target site of action, if available. Contact your local extension specialist or certified crop advisors for any additional pesticide resistance management and/or IPM recommendations for specific crops and pathogens. For further information and to report suspected resistance, contact Gowan Company at 1-800-883-1844 or at www.gowanco.com. PRECAUTIONS: KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Avoid inhalation of the dust or spray mist. Do not contaminate ponds, lakes, streams or water used for domestic or irrigation purposes. Harmful if swallowed. Highly toxic to fish. Keep out of any body of water. Do not use on germinating seeds or annual seedlings except as suggested. Do not feed treated foliage to livestock. Do not apply by air. Wear a long-sleeved shirt, long pants, shoes and socks during mixing, loading, application, clean-up and repair activities. In addition, wear chemical-resistant gloves during mixing/loading, clean-up and repair activities, and a NIOSH-approved respirator during mixing and loading activities. Do not apply this product in a way that will cause this product to contact workers or other persons, either directly or through drift. Only handlers (mixers, loaders and applicators) wearing personal protective equipment may be in the are being treated during application. Do not enter or allow worker entry into treated areas for 12 hours following application. If this pest control product is to be used on a commodity that may be exported to the U.S. and you require information on acceptable residue levels in the U.S., visit CropLife Canada s web site at: www.croplife.ca ENVIRONMENTAL HAZARDS For outdoor applications: Do not apply this product directly to aquatic habitats (such as lakes, rivers, sloughs, ponds, prairie potholes, creeks, marshes, streams, reservoirs, ditches and wetlands), estuaries or marine habitats. For indoor applications: Do not allow effluent containing this product to enter lakes, streams, ponds or other waters. For guidance contact the provincial regulatory agency. TOXIC to aquatic organisms. Observe buffer zones specified under DIRECTIONS FOR USE. To reduce runoff from treated areas into aquatic habitats, consider the characteristics and conditions of the site before treatment. Site characteristics and conditions that

may lead to runoff include, but are not limited to, heavy rainfall, moderate to steep slope, bare soil, poorly draining soil (e.g. soils that are compacted, fine textured, or low in organic matter such as clay) Avoid application of this product when heavy rain is forecast. Do not contaminate irrigation or drinking water supplies or aquatic habitats by cleaning of equipment or disposal of wastes. FIRST AID: If inhaled, move person to fresh air. If person is not breathing, call 911 or an ambulance, then give artificial respiration, preferably mouth-to-mouth, if possible. Call a poison control centre or doctor for further treatment advice. If swallowed, call a poison control centre or doctor immediately for treatment advice. Have person sip a glass of water if able to swallow. Do not induce vomiting unless told to do so by a poison control centre or doctor. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Take the container label or product name and Pest Control Product Registration Number with you when seeking medical attention. TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION: Treat symptomatically. DISPOSAL: 1. Rinse the empty container. Add the rinsings to the treatment site. 2. Follow provincial instructions for any required additional cleaning of the container prior to its disposal. 3. Make the empty container unsuitable for further use. 4. Dispose of the container in accordance with provincial requirements. 5.
