INSTALLATION Transport and storage Always use suitable means for transporting and positioning the machine and keep attention to the gravity centre of the machine. The machine should only be transported with the original packing. Width Length Height Storage temperature Weight (gross) 36cm 66cm 28cm -25 to +55 C 48 kg Unpacking of machine Place of use Remove the upper cover of the carton and make sure that there were no damages during the transport. The packing material of the machine should be stored carefully. Keep the packing material away from children as it could be dangerous for them. The machine should be kept away from flammable and explosive materials as well as from solar radiation and intensive light. The machine should also be installed in a well-ventilated place. The jack must be used on a concrete floor or similar solid flooring. When selecting the place of usage, besides the soil condition also the guidelines and instructions of the accident prevention regulations and workplace regulations must be observed. When using on an intermediate ceiling the capacity must be checked before. Generally, it is recommended to ask a technical expert when installing on an intermediate ceiling. It is not allowed to install the machine outside, but only inside, as the machine has no corresponding safety provisions (IP-protection, zinc coated and so on) Temperature 4-40 C Sea level < 1000 m Air humidity 50% at 40 C 90% at 20 C - 7 -

Assembly 1. Assembly of handle: a. First remove the fixing screw (5-5). b. Now bring together the two lever elements (5-1-1 & 5-1-2). To bring these elements fully into the correct position, you must turn the drain wheel (5-2) to bring the internal drain control bar (5-6) together. c. Fix the two elements using the screw (5-5) d. Finally, the fixing elements (5-12-1 & 5-12-2) can be connected to one another and fixed by means of the securing nut (5-17). 5-2 5-1-1 5-6 5-5 5-1-2 5-12-1 5-17 5-12-2 2. Attach the control lever to the jack: a. Insert the control lever (5-0) into the support (5-10). For this purpose, the locking rod (5-0) must also be inserted into one of the three locking holes (6-11). b. By turning the drain wheel (5-2), the control lever can be fully inserted into the support (5-10). c. Secure the operating lever by use of the screw (5-11). 5-0 5-10 6-11 5-11 3. Support for adaptors a. Use the two U-rails (5-16) and nuts to secure the mount to the control lever with shims (5-17). b. Now the adaptors can be placed in the support and fixed by using the fuse pins (5-18). - 8 -

5-18 5-16 5-0 5-17 4. Connection a. Add a nipple G1/4 (not include the scope of delivery) which is suitable for your pneumatic system into the valve and connect to your system. b. Connect the jack as shown in the drawing: 1) Greaser 2) Water separator 3) Manometer 4) Condensation drainer - 9 -

5. Finish Before using the jack, the following points should be checked: a. All moving parts should be lubricated b. Check the oil level, the water level and the adjacent air pressure at the maintenance unit c. Check whether the mains connection is connected correctly. - 10 -
