Air Handling Units Danvent DV 190 and 240 www.systemair.dk
arge Very large DV 190 and 240 Systemair has developed an extensive expertise within major Air Handling Units up till now usually built as individual units. Now 2 new very large units are being launched the DV 190 and 240, maintaining the best details from the previous units. 1500 2000 3000 5000 10000 20000 30000 50000 90000 m 3 /h 240 190 150 120 100 80 60 50 40 30 25 20 15 10 0,4 0,7 1 2 3 5 10 15 20 25 m 3 /s Sizes and air volumes The DV Air Handling Unit (AHU) is now offered in a range of 14 different sizes 0.4 24 m 3 /s or 1500 86,000 m 3 /h making it possible to find the unit suitable for any given requirement. Functions The DV 190 and 240 AHU feature a number of well designed details to facilitate easy transport, to maintain a high efficiency of the heat exchanger and the fans as well as a long lifetime and low service costs. Dampers All DV units are equipped with dampers complying with EN 1751 sealing class 3. Filters In the DV 190 and 240 the filters are held in separate frames with springs. In all the other DV units the filters are slotted into a locking frame system where large handles allow quick and easy release. Heat exchangers DV 190 and 240 are available with rotary heat exchangers or run-around coils. The rotary exchanger is assembled from 4 pieces, which makes the handling during transport very easy. All the other DV units are available with plate heat exchangers too. Heating and cooling coils DV 190 and 240 are available with coils for hot water and chilled water. A drip tray is standard for the cooling coils. Fans The standard configuration in the DV 190 and 240 is an optimized construction with 2 separate plug fans for the supply air and 2 separate plug fans for the exhaust air. The fans are directly driven and the motors are prepared for frequency converters (frequency converters are not included). All the other DV units are available with centrifugal fans too. Design program SystemairCAD This is a user-friendly program for a quick combination of the AHU functions and the technical calculations. A logical presentation of the technical data for easy interpretation is the fast and safe way for the creation of the ideal AHU for the customer. Drawings can be transferred to AutoCad. The fans are on strong steel base frames and accurately dimensioned vibration isolators. The aerodynamic design of the impeller provides a low noise level and a high efficiency.
Important details Frame profiles cast aluminium corner. Bracket for the upper assembly of 2 sections. Ready to lift. Assembly of 2 sections the base frames are connected. AHU casing and corrosion resistance All DV units are built to last for many years. Frame profiles and panels are made of steel sheets protected with alu-zink AZ 185 a very good corrosion protection in class 4 according to EN ISO 12944-2. Frame profiles and corners Frame profiles with additional strength for the DV 190 and 240 compared to the other DV units have been selected. With the cast aluminium corners the result is a strong and robust construction able to resist twisting and lateral movement, making the units extremely stable and strong. Panels The panels in all DV units are a sandwich construction with 50 mm mineral wool for sound and heat insulation. The mineral wool is completely encapsulated between two steel sheets. These panels with the alu-zinc AZ 185 surface are not only highly corrosion-resistant, but presents an attractive, uniform appearance that will last for many years. Base frame and sections All DV 190 and 240 sections have a strong and rigid base frame with lifting brackets. Some sections may contain more than one function. The base frame is part of the casing, and it is not possible to demount the base frame. Also for units in 2 levels (supply air and exhaust air in 2 levels) the base frame is necessary under the upper casing to keep the whole unit rigid. Assembly of sections The lifting brackets are removed from the base frames and the base frames are bolted together. Brackets keep the top of the sections together. Inspection doors arge inspection doors make the access to service easy. The doors are fastened with solid hinges and stainless steel pins in the hinges. This means that the doors can be easily removed. The doors are sealed with rubber profiles and locks with heavy-duty handles. They can only be opened with a key. Combination examples, lengths and weights The table below shows the total length and the total weight for each combination of units. This length and weight must be added to the lengths and weight of a coiling coil. Combinations ike the other Danvent DV units, the Danvent DV 190 and 240 can be delivered in various combinations. The most essential combinations are illustrated below. ength and weight DV 190 DV 240 Combination 3 6580 mm 7030 mm 5300 kg 6240 kg Combination 5 5160 mm 5460 mm 4870 kg 5655 kg Combination 13 4410 mm 4560 mm 2250 kg 2600 kg Combination 15 4260 mm 4860 mm 1630 kg 2080 kg Combination 17 7400 mm 8600 mm 2560 kg 3520 kg Combination 19 4560 mm 4860 mm 3070 kg 3715 kg Combination 21 3890 mm 4040 mm 1630 kg 2075 kg Combination 23 3890 mm 4040 mm 2730 kg 3320 kg Additional length 670 mm 670 mm Additional weight 550 kg 700 kg for combination 4, 6, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22 and 24 (Cooling coil) Rotary heat exchangers 3 4 5 6 Run-around coil heat exchangers 13 14 Recirculation 15 16 17 18 19 20 Block of wood for easy internal transport. Transport and lift The length of each section does not exceed 2,470 mm. For easy internal transport with a fork-lift truck with extra long forks, 100 mm high wood blocks are bolted under each corner of the base frame. Supply air 21 22 NOTE! Do not under any circumstances lift the section with forks that are shorter than the section! When the sections are lifted by straps to the final destination, it must be done by using the lifting brackets on the base frame, and distance pipes must be used above the section. 23 24
Dimensions The main dimension as well as the sizes of the connections to ducts appear from the table below. All capacities of heating, cooling, heat recovery and SFP-values are calculated and optimized individually in the Systemair- CAD design program. The dimension of pipes appears from the SystemairCad.
