Elers Medical Antimicrobial Disposable Curtains have a silver ion based treatment added at the polypropylene (PP) mixing state.the PP fibers are inherently antimicrobial which means harmful bacteria is neutralized once it comes into contact with the surface of the fabric, directly helping reduce pathogenic transfer from the surface of the curtain to the patient or staff member. Elers Medical Antimicrobial Disposable Curtains are flame retardant (FR) tested and are compliant with International Standards NFPA 701 and BS 5867 PART 2 TYPE C. This means the Curtains remain FR protected for the lifetime of the curtain. Commonly used textile curtains can lose up to as much as 60% of their FR protection simply from the harsh laundering process. Requiring no laundering or costly initial capital expenditure, Elers Medical Antimicrobial Disposable Curtains should become an integral part of every hospital's overall infection control protocol. 2
