(mind you I've never waxed before) she said it wasn't that bad and i wouldn't want to shave ever again. So i finally decided to book my appointment. She recommended i go with Sherly, luckily she had time in the morning. When i went inside she explained to me it would hurt a little just because it was my first time but she was very sweet and kept me calm. I will admit it did hurt,,,, (mind you my tolerance for pain is weak) She kept me calm and at ease even when i kept moving around when she removed the sugar wax. I felt so horrible because i was being such a baby but she was so nice. Talking to me throughout the whole session and just trying to keep me distracted. She made the whole experience a little less painful. I would definitely recommend going with Sherly she was amazing! Still absolutely LOVE this spot. Especially after their remodel. Very clean and well maintained. Plus staff is friendly and highly skilled at what they do. Love Liz (orig. at WeHo location) and Sherly! Both make the process quick and as painless as possible. Also appreciate their package and monthly membership options. Highly recommend. I've been to Lay Bare before many times and they've always been great. But this review is for Jenny specifically, bcuz she has the softest touch. In spots that are usually painful for me, I felt minimal pain. She's also friendly and funny. Thanks Jenny
