Serial Connection (Cascading) suction liners ALL have hydrophobic overflow protection filters in their lids. This is a huge advantage when cascading, as there is no need to use a combination of filtered and non-filtered liners. Reliable, safe cascading. Fast, simple connection. Intuitive set-up. Only one liner style required. Other systems rely on there being a filtered liner to protect the suction equipment together with a series of non-filtered liners to permit the cascading. These have to be fitted in the correct sequence for the system to work, and of course both types of liners have to be purchased and stocked. Serial connection with is simple and is achieved by connecting between successive liners with a single serial tube incorporating a pre-attached wide-bore push-in connector. As the fluid fills the first liner its internal filter shuts the suction off, and the fluid then cascades to the next liner. Once the final liner fills, or the procedure has finished, its filter automatically shuts off the vacuum allowing the liners to be disposed of. 57918 Product Product Description Serial Tubing 57918 Pre-cut Serial Tubing for Cascade 25 FSE012 Pack The grey connectors and tubing are permanently attached to the canisters and the vacuum source, and do not need to be removed when the liners are changed. The liners and serial connection tubes are disposable. Every new liner has a pre-attached white elbow.

Converting your hospital to the Suction Liner System GBUK Healthcare has been successfully converting hospitals to the suction system since 2000 and we have unrivalled experience in UK hospital suction needs. We supply all the necessary canisters and theatre trolleys and all are professionally installed and commissioned. All the work is undertaken by GBUK Healthcare, and no hospital staff need to be distracted from their duties. Our dedicated installation teams are fully trained and experienced in converting wards, departments and operating theatres. The process starts with a comprehensive audit of the overall equipment requirements, and discussion regarding the specific needs of your hospital. A date is confirmed for the conversion and all relevant departments are informed of the process. Typically, converting an individual ward takes less than 15mins, and that is followed by training for all available staff on the fitting, use and disposal of the liners. Disruption to the ward is minimal, and only once the senior ward staff member is satisfied is their conversion considered to be complete. In advance of the conversion theatre managers will have been consulted regarding the specific requirements of each of their theatres, and the most convenient time for the conversion will have been agreed. Throughout the conversion trained GBUK Healthcare staff remain in the department to provide training, answer any questions and familiarise all staff with the new equipment. Our reputation ensures an efficient, speedy and comprehensive service that involves thorough staff training, with minimal disruption. And finally, following your hospital s conversion we provide unrivalled support, to ensure you realise the maximum user and financial benefits from adopting the suction system.
