Discussion Topics Divide the park into three zones. Active Area (Waterfront Zone) Zoo and Gardens (Activity Zone) Natural woodlands (Forest Zone) Include space for entertainment and concerts. Provide a Maintenance/Service Area within the Park. Siting the new aquarium within the Zoo area. Pagoda and Garden: Including the garden with a Japanese character. Walks along the top of the cliff should be protected by fences. Provide picnic areas of various sizes with water, light, grills, tables and seats. Conveniently locate restrooms. Forest Management Clear along the roads to remove fallen trees, dead standing ones that pose a hazard to visitors, and the removal of accumulated dead leaves and other materials to lessen the danger of fire. Maintain natural growth on the steep slopes Install water lines of sufficient size throughout the park Utilize native plants throughout the Forest Zone Prohibit smoking in the park Signage Provide attractive signs, uniform in size and lettering, marking the way to restrooms, picnic areas, viewpoints and buildings.
