We would like to thank all of the apparatus owners for coming and displaying their trucks. Twenty apparatus were on display on a beautiful, sunny May afternoon with temperature in 80 s. Attendance was steady and interest was high. Trophies were awarded for Best of Show and 2nd Best of Show, with all attendees receiving dash plaques and participation trophies. T-shirts and 50/50 tickets were sold. For more information on the Muster, see inside. We look forward to next year and an even larger turnout. Turn left and proceed on Route 332 westbound (Yardley Newtown Rd turns into Newtown Bypass), Turn right onto Newtown Yardley Road, (Newtown Yardley will turn into E. Washington Ave). September Meeting The September meeting of the Union Historical Fire Society will be held at the Liberty Fire Company, which is part of the City of Reading Fire Department. The City of Reading Fire Department has a Fire Museum located at the Liberty Fire Company. The Society will be touring the Museum after our bi-monthly meeting starting at 10:00 am on September 9, 2012.
