A successful start to 2018: ter Hürne inspires trade visitors at Domotex in Hannover A large number of trade visitors caught up with the latest trends and new developments of ter Hürne GmbH engineered hardwood flooring manufacturer and flooring solution specialist from Südlohn in Münsterland. In the spectacular world of experience on the ter Hürne exhibition stand extending over 200m2, not only were existing business relationships with national and international customers and partners renewed and intensified, but also new friends of the brand were won over by the quality made in Südlohn. In keeping with the exhibition motto Innovative Flooring Solutions with System ter Hürne presented for the first time a livingenvironment-friendly vinyl floor based on the newly developed RCB technology (Rigid Composite Board).This engineered rigid solution uses a rigid baseboard with high chalk content with a corresponding reduction of the plasticizer content. The wear layer and the backing layer are both made of LVT combined additionally with an integrated cork impact sound insulation. We are convinced that the rigid segment will become the most important segment of the LVT market and therefore this is a logical direction for our range, affirmed Bernhard ter Hürne member of the ter Hürne executive board. In creating the recently launched laminate Trend Line, we have proved once again our flair for design. The high level of recognition and interest of the visitors, especially in the Avatara-MultiSense-Floor and laminate flooring ranges confirmed this to us, stated Bernhard ter Hürne. The new step and stair system, which is offered with all ter Hürne engineered hardwood parquet floors and LVT floors in the Comfort range, was a hit with the trade visitors thanks to the continuous flow of the wood grain pattern from the tread area to the top edge. This creates the visual impression that the steps are all made from one continuous piece of solid wood for stairs that are open on one side.
