Please take note of the following clarifications: 1. Prevailing Wage Decision Updated September 16, 2011. Attached is the current Prevailing Wage Decision. 2. When are the bids due? Bids are due on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. at Placentia City Hall to the Finance Department. 3. Is there a site plan showing the locations were the new light fixtures are to be located? In Appendix 4, Section 5 of the bid package, there are details of the locations of all the light fixtures. Original electrical plans of the building are available for reference purposes at www.placentia.org/backslighting 4. Are there any civil requirements for patch back of concrete and/or pads for the tree lighting? Per Appendix 4, Section 5 of the bid package, new conduits for light fixtures in the tree wells will be run through the turf areas underneath the concrete. Contractor shall attempt to install fixtures without the removal of the concrete. 5. Could we get a copy of the plan holders list for this project? Attached is the registered vendor s list as of September 26, 2011. 6. What is the cost estimate for the Backs Community Building Exterior Lighting Upgrade Project No. 61068? The pre-bid meeting held on Monday, September 19, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Backs Community Building was not mandatory. 8. I see that you are requiring a Class B contractor s license to bid this project. Since the scope of work is electrical, would having a C-10 Electrical Contractor s license only be acceptable to place a bid on this project? Yes, a Class B contractor s license or a C-10 Electrical Contractor s license will be acceptable for this project. 9. Please provide the City of Placentia s current listing of UDBE firms, if any. The City does not maintain the list of UDBE firms.
