In the area of security technology, we, at HAVERKAMP, place a lot of value on the connection between the feeling of security and free personal development and the optically attractive fence systems. Feeling safe at home is a good feeling made possible by a number of protective measures. The outer one, the perimeter of the property marks the start of a comprehensive security concept. Just like an onion, the best security concepts consist of many layers, which aim to protect the core. When threatened every individual layer provides an ever increasing resistance and guarantees a head start to escape or call for help. HAVERKAMP achieves the best results by combining an alarmed fence with CCTV (Closed Circuit Television). What happens in the first few seconds is decisive. The fence itself acts as a sensor and the CCTV system can then quickly and precisely locate the intrusion. The alarm is raised either silently or audibly. The police or any other security company can be alerted immediately. We can offer the choice between closed-circuit current or sensory surveillance or a combination of both. The closed-circuit surveillance fence is not affected by the weather or vibrations. As a result there is little risk of a false alarm. It locates any breach to the fence according to pre-defined sections (of the fence). The advantage of the sensory surveillence system is that it can locate an intrusion precisely - to within a metre. Thanks to their processing power and clever algorithms, the modern HAVERKAMP systems, have been able to reduce the rate of false alarms to an extremely low level. We would certainly recommend such systems especially if they are linked up to a control centre. 3

A cable system, which is mounted on the inner side of the fence, is able to pinpoint any vibrations caused by anyone trying to cut through, force open, dismantle or climb over the fence. As the reserve electrical supply of the individual modules is in the cabling system, an external supply is not required. That means the cost of the infra-structure, which could have easily overtaken the value of the system, can be kept to a minimum. A system, which is available in almost any length with any number of divisions into individual sections, enables the inclusion of further alarm contacts. No external power supply necessary, which means lower installation costs. A considerably greater processing power and a greater sensitivity means a lower rate of false alarms. WallGARD The wall detection. It has always been a particulary difficult challenge to incorporate a detection device to prevent would-be intruders from climbing over a wall without changing it s construction. The coping of the wall and the fence are fitted with a metal cover plate, which is weight sensitive. However, it doesn t raise the alarm if it recognises a small animal or normal levels of snow. The idea of ProtectGARD, is that we use the physics of climbing a wall against the would-be intruder. The measurements, the shape and material used are combined in such a way that it becomes an extremely difficult obstacle. Thanks to specially adapted detection systems we are able to recognise the use of ropes and kedge anchors as well as an approach from outside and inside. ProtectGARD can be used on any types of fence, wall, and roof edges because we again take advantage of our modular method of constructing the system to meet requirements. FenceGARD The proven closed circuit current fence. FenceGARD is a wire mesh fence, which uses electrical surveillance and is equipped with a combined detection system. One which detects breaches as well as attempts at scaling the fence. It consistutes a very effective perimeter protection system. By using our closed-circuit current surveillance technology we are able to keep the number of false alarms to a minimum. We have installed FenceGARD in areas with extreme conditions as well as in high end properties and are delighted with its versatility and performance. 7

PROFILON P3A One of the strongest security films worldwide. PROFILON P3A is a multi-layer security film with impact resistant properties and an improved development of our top product PRO- FILON AX A1 (P2A). It will be applied only from the inside on windows and is certificated according to the impact resistance classification P3A and DIN EN 356. Additionally, it offers explosion resistant attributes and is flame retardant. This film offers an enormous resistance against raid and burglars hardly have a chance to succeed. Due to the extreme stability of the film glass combination the window is nearly impregnable. A window pane retrofitted with PROFILON P3A resists three times an impact of a steal ball with 4.11 kilos from a height of 6 meters. So PROFILON P3A is twice as resistant as most of other known security films. PROFILON ER1 The explosion resistant security film. PROFILON ER1 is a highly flexible, 4-ply security film with impact and explosion resistant properties. It was designed to absorb the maximum area pressure as built up by a shock wave. PROFILON ER1 is hardly flammable in conformity with DIN 4102-1 class B1. This high-performance film offers protection in the event of a bomb explosion at very high constructional danger zones, e.g. in cases of high and narrow construction or at especially endangered entrance areas. Additionally, the multi-ply quality of PROFILON ER1 generates an excellent impact resistance, which is an important additional feature for endangered parts of a building.
