Electronic thermostat for fan coil MAIN FUNCTIONS - Room temperature adjustment - Manual or automatic Heating/Cooling selection - Manual and automatic 3 speed setting - Programmability through micro switch of the functions: destratification, fan mode, system type (2/4 pipes), electrical heater mode, neutral zone value. Installation - Wall-mounted (surface mounting with centres for box 503) - Directly on the fan coil (only AIR units) - Power supply 230 Vac 50 Hz - Output: 1A 230 Vac APPLICATIONS Suitable for: - 2-pipe system - 2-pipe system + On/off or floating valve - 2-pipe system + valve and electric heater - 4-pipe system + 2 on/off valves with neutral zone OPERATION 1. 2 pipe fan coil with valve: the thermostat controls both the fan and the valve according to the desired temperature. If water sensor is present, the fan is overridden according to the water temperature (warm and cold start function). 2. 2 pipe fan coil with valve: the thermostat drives both the fan and the valve based on the desired temperature. 3. 2 pipe fan coil with valve and electrical heater: the thermostat controls the fan, the valve and the electrical heater according to the desired temperature. 4. 4 pipe fan coil with two valves: the heating or cooling function is automatically determined by the neutral zone. The thermostat controls the heat valve in heating mode and the cold valve in cooling mode. If closes the valves when room temperature of system (warm and cold functions). During the installation, it is possible to choose between fans continuously running or fan thermostatic control. 4

Electronic control OPEN = Cooling CLOSED = heating Air temperature sensor NTC10K@25ºc Always be used in case of the board installation The sensors recognized automatically by the thermostat. With the remote air sensor connected is active the destratification cycle: the fan operate for 90 sec. at minimum speed every 15 minutes. Water sensor temperature NTC10K@25ºC 1. In the case of automatic change over with 2 pipe System and 3 way valve, the sensor is positioned upstream of the valve. 2. In the case of 4 pipe System the sensor is positioned in the heating coil ECONOMY OPEN = Confort CLOSED = Economy In economy mode is set a fixed temperature: 17ºC Heating mode 28ºC Cooling mode WINDOW OPEN = Fan OFF = Valve closed CLOSED = Confort 10
On board installation Wall installation Note for installation: 1) The thermostat is composed of two parts: the base with the terminal and the electronics control. For easy installation the two parts are supplied separately (dropped). After the electrical connections on the terminal in the base, the two parties must be joined by 4 clips on the four corners: insertion of 4 teeth of 4 slots (picture B). 2) The base standard is designed for mounting with Italian wall box (type 503). It is possible replace the standard base with another base (accessory) for wall-mounted (picture C). 11
