Please read the following user notes carefully to ensure you can enjoy your quality GRUNDIG product for many years to come. A responsible approach! HEPA filters are particulate air filters, which filter more than 99.9% of all dust particles larger than 0.1 to 0.3 micrometres out of the air. Viruses, respirable dusts, mite eggs and mite excrement, pollen, smoke particles, asbestos, bacteria, diverse toxic dusts and aerosols are removed from the air. 6 ENGLISH

PREPARATION Installing the parts Lift the handle A and bring it to the vertical position till it clicks. Place the body D in a way to match with the slot on the brush. Attach the brush till it clicks. Press brush removal button to remove the body D from the brush. Charging the appliance Note 77For the first 3 uses, charge the appliance for 12 hours. 77For the following uses, you can charge the appliance for 5 hours. 7 7 When the vacuum cleaner is in power shortage, red light on the indicator board will be flashing. Appliance needs to be charged promptly. ENGLISH 7

PREPARATION 1 Attach the thin tip of the charging adapter to the charging port on the body D and then plug the charging adapter in the socket. 2 Remove the thin tip of the charging adapter and unplug it from the socket. Charging port Charge indicator LEDs E flash white. When the charge indicator LED E light white constantly, charging is completed. OPERATION Switching on and off your appliance Press On/Off button B to switch on and off the appliance. Note 77During operation the LEDs E on the body light up white, LED at the brush lights up blue. Warning: 77While charging, the appliance will not start to operate even if you press On/Off button B. 77When a big object is trapped by the brush, the appliance is switched off automatically for your safety. 8 ENGLISH

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE Cleaning the dust container Notes 77It is recommended to clean the dust container after every use. Warning 77Do not clean the appliance while it is running. 1 Press the dust container removal button to remove the dust container. 3 Empty the full dust container into a bin. 4 Separate HEPA filter, sponge filter and cyclone element. Sponge filter 5 Clean the cyclonic filter, HEPA, sponge filter and dust container under the running water. 6 Clean the body D of the appliance with a soft damp cloth. 7 After all parts are dried, place the HEPA and sponge filter into the cyclonic filter. 8 Place the cyclonic filter into the dust container. 9 Place the dust container into the body of the appliance. Cleaning the brush 1 Open the cover by using a screwdriver. 2 Remove the filter from the dust container. ENGLISH 9

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE 2 Remove the cover, pull out the brush and clean it. Cover Brush roll Storage Store the appliance in a vertical position or with its handle folded. 1 If you want to store the appliance with its handle folded, press the handle folding button C and fold the handle downwards. 3 After cleaning and drying the brush roll, reattach it and secure the cover again with a screwdriver. INFORMATION Environmental note This product has been manufactured with highquality parts and materials which can be re-used and are suitable for recycling. Therefore, do not dispose of the product with normal domestic waste at the end of its service life. Take it to a collection point for the recycling of electrical and electronic equipment, where the battery is taken out of the device and disposed separately. This is indicated by this symbol on the product, in the operating manual and on the packaging. Please consult your local authorities to find out where the nearest collection point is.
