To Proposers: This Addendum is hereby made a part of the Contract Documents on which all proposals will be based and is issued to correct and/or clarify the original Request for Proposal (RFP) documents. Please acknowledge receipt of this Addendum in your Proposal. This Addendum consists of two (2) pages and one (1) attachment consisting of thirteen (13) pages. ITEM NO. 1: Inquiry: Is the heating system set up as a 2-zone system? Or is it a single zone? Response: The school is heated with 2 Natural Gas Steam Boilers. The boilers are independently zoned, 1 zone per boiler. ITEM NO. 2: Inquiry: Do you know the age of the heating/ac system? Response: See the attached documentation provided by the Washington County Public Schools. ITEM NO. 3: Inquiry: When was the fire alarm system last updated? Response: See the attached documentation provided by Washington County Public Schools. Per County Facilities, the fire alarm system is operating properly as it has been activated during the time the Countyhas had ownership. ITEM NO. 4: Inquiry: Is a payment/deposit required with the initial bid proposal? After awarding the bid, when will full payment be expected? Response: A deposit is not being required at the time of the submittal of proposals. Final settlement/closing (to formally transfer the property and at which time full payment shall be due to the County) shall occur no later than one hundred eighty (180) calendar days after written notification from the County of the acceptance/approval of the proposal by the (NOTE: The wording of all Inquiries submitted are displayed exactly as received.)

Extensions to the hereinbefore specified time period as mutually agreed upon by the parties and as determined to be in the best interest of Washington County, Maryland. ITEM NO. 5: Inquiry: Do the County Commissioners have the right to make a counter-offer to any proposal? Response: The Board of County Commissioners of Washington County, Maryland reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to take whatever action it determines to be in the best interest of Washington County, Maryland.
