Words from behind the desk: Stephanie Stipins October is a month packed full of activities for our members, you don t want to miss out! On October 1st, Arkansas Oklahoma Gas, hosted our annual VIP Reception at the 2015 Showcase Home, 12406 Norwich Street, The Boroughs at Middleton, Fort Smith. We had an exceptional turn out, approximately 140 members attended. The food was delicious, yummy ribs and all the fixings, dozens of door prizes given away and time spent with new and old friends, couldn t have asked for a better time and no torrential down pours either (though the photo opportunities were great in 2014)! We have to give our President Chuck Fawcett a hard time; it will soon be time for him to pass the gavel to Vice President, 2016 Incoming President, Rocky Walker. President Fawcett has done a wonderful job and will be greatly missed as President, though he doesn't get off that easy, he will remain on our board as the previous President. Which brings us to our next item of business; we are currently taking nominations for seat positions as a Board of Director and Associate Council member. If you would like to know more about possible service, please contact the HBA at 479-452-6213, no later than October 23rd. Our 2016 Slate of Officers will be presented to the membership at the November Meeting. Plans are underway for our final event for 2015, the Installation Banquet, Thursday, December 10th at Golden Living. If you are interested in serving on this committee, please contact the HBA, all help is greatly appreciated!! Mark you calendars..
