Product Description The Juiced Rite Model 800 is a semi-automated hydraulic juice press machine designed to handle a wide range of produce. The press is designed to be operated by a single user. The operator controls produce reduction, filling of the press bags, initiating the press (squeeze) operation, and dumping waste product. The operator is provided with a touch screen interface to initiate and monitor these commands. The Model 800 itself is an industrial cold press juice processing machine. It has 8 sets of press boards which nest to increase effective pressing surface area. Model 800 Cold Press Machine (JR800) Some Custom Installations can incorporate a produce shredding system with a top feed hopper to be integrated with a produce conveyor feed system. Disintegrator System 4
Instruction Manual JR800-818-001 Juiced Rite This installation also includes a user operated produce fill system. This fill arm allows the operator to fill each press bag with reduced produce with a simple and intuitive single button control system. The fill arm locks into position away from the press when not in use. The fill arm is fully supported by rollers on an extended frame above the JR800. Fill System Finally, an integrated waste conveyor is included beneath the JR800, allowing for easy removal of produce cake after it has been pressed. Waste Conveyor System 5

Juiced Rite JR800-818-001 Instruction Manual WARNING READ BEFORE OPERATION EMERGENCY STOP OPERATION There are 3 Emergency stop buttons on the system. Any of these will immediately cut power to the entire system and swiftly bring all moving parts toa complete and safe stop. Juiced Rite JR800-818-001 Instruction Manual Protective Measures Sensors The JR800 uses a Light Curtain to stop pressing operations if the safety beam is broken by either the user or a foreign object. If the Light Curtain is triggered by a user s limb or any other object, the entire hydraulic system immediately shuts down. Once the Light Curtain is free of obstruction, the hydraulic pump can be restarted and the pressing operations can be commanded to continue. Guards The JR800 has several stationary guards in place to prevent user contact with dangerous areas of the machine. These guards can only be removed with tools, and should only be removed when maintenance is being performed by skilled personnel.. Power Isolation If any of the JR800 s components require maintenance, the Disconnect Switch (Located on the electrical enclosure of the disintegrator stand) should be switched to off. This will prevent any part of the machine from unexpectedly starting up while maintenance is being performed. 10
Instruction Manual JR800-818-001 Juiced Rite Improper Use - DO NOT DO NOT Over Fill Press Bags Over filling bags with produce slurry can create a hygienic issue. Slurry will spill out of the bags, with significant force if the bags are especially full. This can leave produce slurry in difficult to reach areas. DO NOT Press Other Items NEVER Press any object other than prepared produce. This can damage the machine, and potentially harm individuals nearby if the object, or part of the object, is ejected from the press. DO NOT Conduct Maintenance While Power is Connected NEVER conduct maintenance unless the machine is properly isolated from its power source. 11
Juiced Rite JR800-818-001 Instruction Manual Instructions for Use Control Panel/User Interface The JR800 is controlled using a Schneider 5.7 Touch Panel Screen. Every normal use operation can be controlled from this screen. Juiced Rite JR800-818-001 Instruction Manual Maintenance Operations Power Isolation BEFORE ANY MAINTENANCE OR CLEANING Disconnect Operator Switch The operator switch is located on the outside of the electrical enclosure located on the back side of the Disintegrator assembly. Set this switch to the OFF position to cut power to all components in the system. Daily Cleaning Before First Press Visually inspect the system to ensure that there are no cleaning solutions left pooling from the night before, and that the cleaning performed has effectively removed all food particles from the machinery. After Last Press The cleaning procedure must be very thorough to remove the risk of contamination. Use Low Pressure for washdown of the Press Area. Do not pressure wash. 14
Instruction Manual JR800-818-001 Juiced Rite First, remove all press bags and press boards from the press area, wash these separately in a safe area. Wash down and scrub the press area with low pressure and food safe nylon bristle brushes. Pay especially close attention to inside corners and crevices. All food particles should be scrubbed and washed out of the press area. Several styles of food safe brushes should be available to appropriately reach all of the press area. Examples of Food Safe Bristle Brushes, PERFEX (www.perfexonline.com) For surfaces outside of the press area, wipe clean with a sanitizing agent, and scrub with food safe nylon brushes only if necessary to remove food particles and other stains/debris. Clean in Place The cleaning ball on the Disintegrator hopper is designed to be used with an external (Not Provided) Clean in Place (CIP) system. This system can include a combination of pump and tank with cleaning solutions, either hot or cold, depending on the customer s cleaning needs. CIP Fluid should be pumped through the Disintegrator hopper, the feed hose, and the fill arm to make certain that all internal components have been cleaned and sanitized. These components should be left as open as possible to facilitate drying before next use of the machinery. If the environment allows, the feed hose can be vertically hung to dry, as loon as no low spots remain to allow interior pooling of cleaning agents. Routine Maintenance Procedures 15
Juiced Rite JR800-818-001 Instruction Manual Bolt Check This is a general procedure. Check all available bolts to ensure that they are fastened tightly and that there are no bolts which repeatably come loose. If there is a problem bolt, contact Juiced Rite, LLC. Lubrication Lubricate wheels on the filler carriage. Check level of oil on the positive displacement pump in the fill arm assembly and add as necessary. Fluid Change Empty out the oil in the reservoir into an appropriate container using its drain plug. Refill to marked level. Replace Press Bags The press bags are held in place by pins through grommets in the press bags. To exchange the bags, ensure that the machine is disconnected from its power source. Next, unhook the grommets from their respective pins, and simply lift the bags out of the press area. Replace Press Boards The press boards are held in place by the spreader strap and pins on the press plates. Remove press boards by first removing Replace Feed Hose The feed hose should be replaced according to manufacturer specifications. Disconnect the hose at both ends and replace with a suitable hose. Replace Spreader Strap The Spreader Straps are attached with grommets to pins on each press plate. To replace it, simply pull the straps off the pins and place a new strap in its place. Ensure that each grommet is fully seated on its corresponding pin. Replace Disintegrator Screen The disintegrator screen should be replaced according to manufacturer specifications. NOTE: Contact Juiced Rite, LLC for detailed instructions if any of these processes are unfamiliar or unclear. 16
