1/5/2015 4 Founder, Industrial Environmental Safety Management Consulting As a direct result of difficulty finding adequate training organizations for OSHA, DOT and EPA programs in the Greater Chicago IL area I began conducting in-house training for Mae Corp. the company I was currently employed as Corporate Health and Safety Manager. To date, IESMC has trained over 10,000 associates representing more than 500 companies. I have traveled the entire United Stated, including Canada, presenting a variety of programs We specialize in On-Site Training and On-Site Supervision for more complex remediation projects, including Level A and B. Typical clients, to name a few are, Railroads, Government (including OSHA, EPA, DOT, and US Military), Utility Generator Plants, Colleges and Universities, Environmental Organizations, Mines and Construction Companies. Development of the HASP for the excavation project Iowa for Railroad. Responsible for Health and Safety during start up, supervised and provided level B equipment for duration of the project. Provided On-Site Health and Safety meetings and continuous safety audits. Wrenshall, MN: Excavation Provided Level B equipment/supervision and developed the HASP. Also responsible for the development and maintenance of the health and safety budget as well as central approval and control of the purchase of health and safety-related equipment and materials. 1/5/2015 5 Project Manager, Mae Corp Inc. Responsible for the management and coordination of projects from initial site visit to final report. Interfaced with client, subcontractors, and appropriate in house departments to ensure accurate and complete execution of all phases. Clients included AMOCO Oil, Commonwealth Edison, City of Chicago, and Shell Oil Company. Monitored progress of each project by completing site visits and submitting progress reports to the client. Prepared final reports for submittal to the client. Successfully negotiated contract with IEPA to clean up a PCB contaminated site. Managed all activities related to cleanup of dioxin-contaminated soil at a Nissan Manufacturing site. Determined area of contamination through sampling protocol. Designed and constructed pole building storage facilities on the designated site with a slope requiring the installation of retaining wall over 14 feet high. Successfully decontaminated and restored eight homes in the area. Respond to emergency action call from USEPA and State EPA. Direct field operations of the company including delivery of all contracted cleanup services in the field and scheduling of personnel and equipment for project by project. Director of Operations, Switzer Manufacturing Hired to evaluate and introduce a new off-shore high performance boats. Spent a month at lake X in the Orlando, Florida area as test pilot. Worked with engineers to produce a performance machine capable of 100 knots. Upon completion, took product from development to introduction for the Miami Boat Show. Business Manager, Nissan Motors Hired by Nissan Industrial to develop and implement grass roots dealer and distributor organizations (domestic and international) for new product line of outboard motors and boats. Developed the parts and accessories programs, growing the P/L from 2 million dollars to 5 million dollars in five years. I was promoted to Business Manager where I reported directly to the President. Directed the relocation activities from Memphis, TN to Schaumburg, IL. Responsibility included the supervision of an office staff of 33, outside sales force of 8. P&L of over 5 million dollars. Developed Health and Safety strategies for the sales fleet and service facilities. Divisional Manager, Mettam Safety Sales representative for Northern and Western Illinois and Eastern Iowa Conducted sales seminars and consulted with safety specialist for safety equipment and training.
