RESOLUTION 04:10:2019-3 RE: Authorize Additional Expenditures for Community Day WHEREAS, the Recreation Department is desirous to provide various events throughout the year; and WHEREAS, the 2019 budget includes funding for entertainment for Community Day on July 20, 2019; now therefore be it RESOLVED, that the following additional expenditures are hereby authorized by the Town Board as per the contract: - Emcee (Strictly Entertainment) not to exceed $500.00 - Dunk Tank (Party Time Rentals) not to exceed $320.00 - Emerald Ice Water Slide (Party Time Rentals) not to exceed $1,160.00

RESOLUTION 04:10:2019-4 RE: Authorizing Use of the Beekman Recreation Park to Beekman Fire Dept. WHEREAS, the Town of Beekman Fire Department requested to reserve the Beekman Recreation Park for their own private use for their annual picnic and celebration; and WHEREAS, Recreation Park has set aside the first Sunday of August for the Fire Department s annual Fire Company Picnic in years past; now therefore be it RESOLVED, that the Town of Beekman Fire Department is authorized to reserve the Beekman Recreation Park on Sunday August 4, 2019 and it shall therefore shall be closed to the public on that day; and be it further RESOLVED, that the Town of Beekman Fire Department will reimburse the Town of Beekman for the funds required to pay for all staff costs necessary to facilitate this arrangement; and be it further RESOLVED, that the Town of Beekman Supervisor is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with the Beekman Fire Department to reserve the Beekman Recreation Park on Sunday, August 4, 2019.

RESOLUTION 04:10:2019-5 RE: Board Re-Appointment WHEREAS, the Town Board will make appointments to the various boards; now therefore be it RESOLVED, that the following re-appointment be made: Re-Appoint of Ed Powers to the Zoning Board of Appeals with a term to expire December 31, 2024. And be it further RESOLVED, that this re-appointment is contingent upon completion and submission of the Disclosure of Interest Statement pursuant to Chapter 19-9 of the Town Code, unless already on file and the information has not changed; and be it further RESOLVED, that all appointee shall file their Oath of Office with the Town Clerk of the Town of Beekman prior to serving their term.

RESOLUTION 04:10:2019-6 RE: Amend Resolution 12:19:18 13 Beekman Recreation and Parks Fee Schedule for Summer Family Fun Nights WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Beekman has the ability to adopt a Recreation and Parks Fee Schedule; now therefore be it RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby amends Resolution 12:19:18 13 Beekman Recreation and Parks Fee Schedule for 2019 to include: Summer Family Fun Nights. (Event is free to residents and $3.00 per non-residents.)

RESOLUTION 04:10:2019-7 RE: RESOLUTION AMENDING SECTION 2.1 OF CHAPTER A163 OF THE TOWN OF BEEKMAN ENTITLED EMPLOYMENT PRACTICE COMPLIANCE MANUAL BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby amends the Employment Practice Compliance Manual as set forth in A163 of the Town of Beekman Town Code as follows: Section 2.1. Procedure for filing vacancies 2.1.5. Pre-employment physical and drug test. Applicants will be required to have a pre-employment drug test. In addition, after a review of the job description and job duties, the Supervisor may require a pre-employment physical examination. Employment shall be conditioned on the applicant passing the physical examination, if required, and drug screening tests. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this amendment shall take effect immediately.

RESOLUTION 04:10:2019-8 RE: Allow Overflow Parking from Fire Department on June 8, 2019 WHEREAS, the Beekman Fire Department is holding their Epic Penny Social event on June 8, 2019; and WHEREAS, they would appreciate additional parking to accommodate the many anticipated visitors for the events; now therefore be it RESOLVED, that the Town Board allow the use of Beekman Town Hall parking lot for the Beekman Fire Department to accommodate the overflow parking on June 8, 2019.
