/16 I NEWSLETTER D) Heat pumps (RHP-products) 1. A/W compact heat pumps (5-9kW) sound improvements Implementation : Bosch ODUs: CS7000iAW 5/7/9 OR-S and Buderus ODUs ODU 4.2/6.2/(.2i : Beginning of 2018 more details will follow : Especially in DACH area, legal requirements on sound emission demand heat pumps with low sound emissions to allow an installation overall. Beyond DACH sound as rising marketing / differentiation aspect. A) Our up-front mentioned ODUs will have a reduced sound power level by Due to: adopted compressor cover Insulation of pipes New absorption material Encapsulation Modified Night Mode / silent mode logic B) Different sound trainings have been realized within SA2-region. Major goal was to sensitize sales and aftersales organizations for sound-issues of A/W compact heat pumps. Documentation of those trainings including specific practical hints for sound optimization/reduction can be found on our boschconnect share, see link: https://connect.bosch.com/communities/service/html/communityview?communityuuid=5bc6babc-ff7c- 444f-94b6-99c05daa5c24#fullpageWidgetId=W5db5ca9951a3_4147_90dc_ddad3b34e483&file=8d96e9c1-9bf0-4046-ba3d-d1dc166c1861 Translation into English will follow. Especially regarding the practical hints, please feel free to comment and give additional input for updating, out of your field experience. Thanks a lot in advance!
/16 I NEWSLETTER 2. Changed installation space requirements for A/W compact heat pumps Implementation : All A/W compact heat pumps : N.A. : Testing confirms possibilities to decrease installation space requirements The initial space required in front of the A/W Compact heat pumps (6 meters) was sometimes a limiting factor for sales. After internal testing we are now able to decrease the requirements down to 2 meters, see attached illustration. Documentation will be updated in the coming editions. 3. New release of Function Description for A/W Compact Implementation : All A/W compact heat pumps : N.A. An updated Function Description is now available in the TT-RH/PRM-M2 Bosch Connect share. https://connect.bosch.com/communities/service/html/communityview?communityuuid=5bc6babc-ff7c-444f- 94b6-99c05daa5c24#fullpageWidgetId=W5db5ca9951a3_4147_90dc_ddad3b34e483&folder=c15a88f5-1b5a-4f1a-b53e-149c416535f2 Major updates have been done in the below mentioned areas. Photovoltaic Cooling Additional heat functions DHW circulation Heating/Cooling change logic and operation Better diagrams and illustrations Improved disposition
/16 I NEWSLETTER C) Controls & System Components (RHS-products) 1. MC 400, RC 310, CW400, Controller software 18.02 and 18.03 not backwards compatible : MC 400, RC 310, CW400 Implementation : ------ ECR number : ------ Accessory TTNR : 7738111003 : Controller software 18.02 and 18.03 (MID unified) are not backwards compatible with MC400 OF2.02 Problem description: By commissioning (switching on the power whole system ) cascades of WB-C with MC400 + MID the control unit MID hangs up -> Communication stopped. No indication of outdoor temperature, VL temperature, auto configuration wizard is not responding. Problem solution: You need to unplug the RC310 and place it back on the socket (problem will occur again, after power loss). Use a RC300 with 11.09 Exchange the MC400 for OF2.04, which is available >FD754
/16 I NEWSLETTER 2. By changing the CUS it is possible to twist the wire harness (180 Degrees) : GC 9000i and the GB192i Implementation : ------ ECR number : 8701N02713 Accessory TTNR : 7738111003 : Field Experience Due to changing the CUS it is possible to twist the wire harness (180 Degrees) on the top site (24V). This will result in a failure code 224 and the boiler won t start. After re-connecting the harness correctly the appliance functions normally. Wrong Correct It is already mentioned in the EWL of this project and will be followed up in the ECR.
/16 I NEWSLETTER D) General issues 1. HMI : GC 9000i and the GB192i : Information The HMI-M (UI300 and BC30) has been changed for the CMS Project. Next to new display texts and new failure codes, there are also changes which are relevant for DNA1.0 Appliances (BOSCH9000 iw(m) not implemented yet and GB192i(T)) in serial production. New function/solved issues: Next to the HC1 pump also the DHW circulation pump can be activated during function test. For tower appliances we got an additional option for the PW2 pump. 0= no pump 1= DHW circulation pump 2= HC1 pump This will solve our problems in the field to adjust the DHW circulation pump even if it looks activated. Solution for limited (lowest) output for Single appliances in combination with 4000 controller/rrc and EM10. H failure which are still visible in HMI, like 1028, are hidden, screen needs to be woken up by pushing the return button. New DHW limitation available to avoid burning. Under limitation you will also find now the DHW max. temperature. The combined failure code list also changed, due to EWL incidents.
/16 I NEWSLETTER The following failures are removed from the end-user display (8) and will only be visible in the failure code list of the MID controller (4). Meaning no information of these failures in HMI! *For appliances with a coil storage tank, the defect DHW sensor will not be visible in the HMI. The customer will only recognize the failure with a cold shower! Failure is only visible in Mid-servicemenu. This must be re-changed!
