Spring 2019 Series Stonecloud Marca Corona has given its elegant interpretation of the latest materic trend with StoneCloud, a series of porcelain stoneware floorings and wall coverings inspired by the magnetic charm of volcanic lava and the authentic purity of stones. The careful experimentation on materials and colours led to an innovative large size ceramic collection, a selection of particularly expressive volcanic rocks re-elaborated by reducing any overly invasive graphic details and adding slight cracks and delicate signs. Thanks to its sophisticated appearance and superior technical properties in porcelain stoneware, StoneCloud takes stone to a new level of elegance for the planning of modern and high-performance interiors and outdoor areas.
StoneCloud sets out to reduce the roughness of stone and restyle it for new, ultra-chic settings. This collection of porcelain stoneware flooring and wall coverings, in large formats, places its bets on a simple, versatile colour range, which includes 4 neutral tones next to a bolder, trend-setting colour accent - Blue Oil. Marca Corona focused on the surface finishes and went for sophisticated solutions such as the Soft version, with satin look and silky touch, and the Trama, with linear irregularities and pleasant worn-out feel, suited for both wall and floor application. The new brick series by Marca Corona is mainly designed for wall coverings in trendy commercial areas or modern homes: Regoli combines rich colours with a variety of finishes to let designers personalise their interior designs by mix and matching the matt, glossy and 3D versions available
Regoli exudes all its industrial chic personality in bricks measuring 7.5x30 cm, which it proposes in a wide and original colour range: in addition to the re-assuring shades of white, beige, grey and black, it also includes two more intense colours, blue and green, selected to create theatrical atmospheres and to add character to smaller, more sophisticated rooms. While the matt finish underlines the size and the authentic and very tactile texture of this porcelain stoneware series, the choice of glossy enamels, which are deliberately applied unevenly, underlines the eloquence of the nuances chosen and the design flair of this collection. The two surfaces have been specially conceived for both plain coloured and plain textured applications and for more creative shades and finishes combinations. Soul Bay Marca Corona took inspiration from the latest Biophilic sensitivity on the one hand and on the other, from the palpable and natural philosophy of Pinuccio Sciola, a twentieth-century artist who became famous for his Sound Garden. The Sound Stones, which are made in stone and put on display at international exhibitions and projects, represent an ode to nature and a celebration of textures. The mission of Sciola was that of revealing the magic of stone, a material that is hard and static at first sight but is able to transmit unexpected tactile, visual and even sound sensations. Through parallel incisions of different lengths and at different heights, stones can in fact acquire their own voice and express it with astonishing sweetness when they are stroked. Each stone has its very own unique sound, ranging from glass to metal, from wood to human, sparking deep emotions. Marca Corona continues to re-invent itself and is proud to present Soulbay, a stone effect 40x80 wall tiles collection, designed especially for wellness areas, such as bathrooms, spa and minimalist homes and commercial interiors. The choice of material had to be white body ceramic, which is the most versatile from a decorative viewpoint, besides being exceptionally resistant, practical and hygienic. The expressive strength of Soulbay is also evident from its plain surface, characterised by slight irregularities, delicate incisions and palpable details with a worn feel. The two textures proposed cleverly combine textures and design: while Form proposes elegant diamond-shaped volumes, Line focuses on a double band of raised lines with an uneven pattern. Both are suitable for horizontal or vertical layouts to obtain completely different but equally refined results. In addition to the 4 neutral shades of pearly grey, talcum, rope and mud, the colour scheme also includes a more fashionable and fresh tone, the watery blue, inspired by the sea. This porcelain stoneware series represents a careful selection of the most suggestive types of natural stone such as limestone, ceppo di gré and quartzite. While the natural refined graphics and the sheer variety of colours assure stunning aesthetical results, the formats modularity and proposed thicknesses guarantee maximum versatility and resistance for both home and commercial outdoor projects Vie della Pietra transfers the authentic beauty of stone to two totally original formats, 22.5x22.5 and 22.5x45cm, non-rectified. The two small sizes add a modern touch to all outdoor areas, from small gardens to patios, from private swimming pools to large common areas. This floor collection is made up of 4 different surfaces, Falesia, Oriente, Quarzite, and Galassia, each one inspired by a different surface pattern and available in its own exclusive colour shade. The 4 neutral tones selected make up a polyhedric and well-balanced colour palette. The close resemblance with the natural materials, the bold graphic shading, the modular installation and the two thicknesses available, 9 and 22 mm, make Via della Pietra an incredibly versatile solution.
