Before First Use Before using this appliance for the first time, peel off any promotional materials or packaging and make sure the cooking plates are clean and free of dust. Wipe the cooking plates with a damp cloth. When the appliance is used for the first time, it may emit some slight odour or smoke. This is normal, and does not effect the safety of the product. Directions For Use 1. Insert the appliance plug into the power socket and switch on the socket. The Heating Indicator light (1) will indicate that the product has started to preheat. 2. Allow the Omelette Maker to preheat sufficiently. When the correct temperature is reached, the ready light (2) will come on. 3. Lightly spray the cooking plates with oil before use. 4. Divide the mixture into the lower cooking plate locations (6). Do not overfill. 5. Gently close the lid, 6. Cook for around five minutes, or until the omelette is golden brown. 7. Remove the omelette using a plastic or wooden spatula. Never use a sharp object or metal spatula as this could damage the non-stick plates.
