Practice profile. For Architects and collaborators. In 2011, directors Matthew Hook and Trystan Graham formed Outdoor Establishments with one goal in mind; to design, build and maintain creative, functional and timeless gardens that complement and enhance their surrounding architecture and environment. With many years spent building residential gardens in Sydney, Matthew and Trystan bring with them valuable experience in all aspects of project management, structural landscaping, swimming pool construction and horticulture. In 2016, Sam Westlake, registered landscape architect AILA, joined as partner. Sam brings with him experience in design and documentation across a diverse range of project types and scales; from large scale urban design projects to the intimate scale of inner city courtyards. We apply our specialist skills to ensure a finished project of only the highest standard. We understand that every project is unique. As a result, we modify our services and approach to deliver a personalised outdoor living space. We can project manage the entire job, from the initial site consultation, to concept design, documentation, construction and finally, maintenance. Supported by a talented team of junior designers, skilled landscape tradesmen and carefully selected sub-contractors, we can guarantee excellent customer service, quality workmanship and a finished product of only the highest standard.
