Having been distributors of Ingersoll Rand compressed air equipment for almost 40 years, in 2010 mb air systems were also officially appointed as distributors for the low pressure blower range. This makes the mb air systems engineering skills, workshops and regional storage facilities available to both the Compressed Air and Low Pressure users within the UK. Compressed Air Zone II Solutions MB Air systems in conjunction with our partner JCE Group are pleased to advise we can now provide into the market place our unique fully compliant ATEX Certified Zone.II Air Package for use in the Oil and Gas Industry. Both companies see this as an exciting opportunity for their respective businesses and as such have entered into a ten year frame agreement to manufacture and supply this equipment The package will be provided with an EC Declaration of Conformity and will be designed to operate in a Group II Category 3G 11B T3 Environment. At the heart of this unit manufactured by MB Air System is well established and proven Ingersoll Rand rugged designed Air End which has been operating in the oil and gas industry for over 40 years. The compressor can be designed for outdoor use. JCE Group provide all the Technical Support relating to motor selection type, control systems and associated instrumentation as well as carrying out panel design, electrical assembly etc. As a minimum the units will be supplied with: Hazardous area rated motors. Air Treatment Overview Compressed air dryers reduce the quantity of water vapour, liquid water, hydrocarbon, and hydrocarbon vapour in compressed air. Moisture in compressed air damages compressed air systems in several ways: Erosion: Water mist erodes piping, valves and other system components. Corrosion: Mist condenses and combines with salts and acids within the system forming highly corrosive solutions. Microbacterial Contamination: Moisture supplies a growth medium for bacteria and mould, which produce acidic waste. Air Treatment Overview Modular Desiccant The PNEUDRI range of heatless and heat regenerative dryers has proven to be the ideal solution for many thousands of compressed air users worldwide and in a wide variety of industries. PNEUDRI totally cleans and dries compressed air down to -40 C pressure dewpoint (pdp) as standard. For critical applications, PNEUDRI can be specified to provide a pressure dewpoint of -70 C pdp. It is worth noting that a pressure dewpoint of -26 C or better will not only prevent corrosion, but will also inhibit the growth of micro-organisms within the compressed air system. Multi-banking Unlike the loose filled adsorbent bed of traditional twin tower dryer designs, PNEUDRI with it s snowstorm filled adsorbent beds provides an equal resistance to air flow. Therefore, when the system flow of an installation exceeds the capacity of the largest single dryer model, PNEUDRI can be multi- banked to meet the demand. Should demand increase in the future, there is no need to replace the dryer with a larger unit, additional capacitycan be covered by simply adding an extra bank or banks, a feature only possible with PNEUDRI. 21
