Garden Club Award "Tip Chart" Most clubs have excellent projects that are eligible in more than one award (, DS, ) category. Exact duplication of the same application is not acceptable; however, maintaining multiple copies of the supporting evidence for inclusion in an application will allow clubs to win more than one award for the same project. The application must focus on each particular award. In some cases, a project may be eligible for, and/or awards. Again, an application must be produced for each award (remember the new rule of three-pages). Often if an award application is judged as the first place winner in the category, the Chairman will forward the award application to the 2nd V.P.(Award Chairman for and/or National) to apply for an award on that level. A club may also send another application directly to the 2nd V.P. (DS and/or state chairman.),, and award application rules are published on the, and websites and published in The National Gardener in the odd numbered years.
