OPERATIONS SCREEN NOTE: Red indicator light on buttons signal when active, or if second item is present (Ex.MAN/AUTO) as active. 1: Jumps to the screen directory page. 2: Switches machine between Manual or Automatic operation. 3: Jog spindle. When selected (see setup screen 5), this doubles as a Dwell stroker button. 4: Used to manually expand feed system. 5: Pause feed system during cycle preventing stone expansion. 6: Displays honing time in Min/Sec. During runout, displays runout stroke count. 7: Sends stroker to the Withdraw position. 8: Used to manually retract feed system. 9: Machine cycle will automatically feed tool during cycle when active. 10: Switches hydraulic pump off/on. 11: Coolant manual/automatic. Manual mode provides constant flow, automatic during cycle only. 12: Fixture clamp/unclamp (Only possible when fixture is NOT rotated - Rotary position 1). 13: Clock - To adjust, touch clock and adjust accordingly - all screens. 14: Status box - Displays current machine status. 15: Alarm - A yellow or red alarm appears here during alarm condition. RUNTIME EDIT SCREEN 1: Jumps to the screen directory page. 2: Machine Speed - Column speed in feet per minute. Maximum value = 20. 3: Spindle Speed in revolutions per minute. Maximum value = 500. 4: Honing Time in minutes. Maximum value = 99. 5: Runout count - User selectable number of non-feed extra strokes (sparkout). Maximum value = 999. 6: Press button to reset both runout and honing counters/timers. 7: Dwell - Press button to dwell tool at selected position (See item #8). 8: Dwell select - Press button to choose between TOP - BOTTOM - BOTH (See item #7). 9: Dwell Top - User selectable time (Seconds) tool will dwell at top of stroke. Maximum time = 9.99. 10: Dwell Bottom - User selectable time (Seconds) tool will dwell at bottom of stroke. Maximum time = 9.99. 11: Extra Strokes. User selectable amount of extra strokes during tool feed after zero is reached. Maximum value = 999. 12: Tool Feed Rate - Amount of tool feed rate expressed in percentage of pressure value set in item #13. 13: Tool Feed Pressure - Pressure (PSI) at which the feed system operates at. MACHINE SETUP SCREEN 1: Jumps to the screen directory page. 2: Displays current stroker/column position in inches. 3: Press button to manually enter withdraw position (part indexing) or touch red AUTO to enter current machine position. 4: Press button to manually enter top of stroke position or touch red AUTO to enter current machine position. 5: Press button to manually enter bottom of stroke position or touch red AUTO to enter current machine position. 6: Press button to enter speed at which the stroker will jog up at when moved by the joystick or during homing Max = 20. 7: Press button to enter speed at which the stroker will jog down at when moved by the joystick or during homing Max = 20. 8: Press button to select a speed at which the spindle will jog when red JOG is touched. 9: Pressing button will change spindle direction FORWARD\REVERSE. 10: Pressing button switches automatic spindle reversing after user selectable amount of cycles (See item #11). 11: Press button to set user selectable amount of cycles before reversing spindle. 12: Clock - To adjust, touch clock and adjust accordingly. 13: Status box - Displays current machine status. 14: Alarm - A yellow or red alarm appears here during alarm condition. MAINTENANCE SCREEN 1: Jumps to the screen directory page. 2: Switches machine between Metric or Inch scaling. 3: Start/Stop spindle calibration routine. 4: Spindle calibration progress scale - invisible unless calibration routine is running. 5: Pushbutton jumps to alarms screen. 6: Pushbutton jumps to setup screen 1. 7: Invisible pushbutton displays software version number. 8: Alarm - A yellow or red alarm appears here during alarm condition. Yellow = non-fatal Red = fatal. 9: Status box - Displays current machine status. 10: Clock - To adjust, touch clock and adjust accordingly - all screens. 7
START SCREEN NOTE: Red indicator light on buttons signal when active, or if second item is present (Ex.MAN/AUTO) as active. 1: Jumps to the screen directory page. 2: Switches hydraulic pump off/on. 3: Initiates machine homing sequence. (Required after main power loss or disconnect). 4: Displays current stroker/column position in inches. 5: Lubrication interval for vertical ways - User selectable variable. Maximum value = 120 min. 6: Clock - To adjust, touch clock and adjust accordingly. 7: Status box - Displays current machine status. 8: Alarm - A yellow or red alarm appears here during alarm condition. Yellow = non-fatal Red = fatal. To acknowledge/clear alarms: From the DIRECTORY screen, press MAINTENANCE. From the MAINTENANCE screen, press GO TO ALARMS SCREEN button. FEED SETUP SCREEN NOTE: Red indicator light on buttons signal when active, or if second item is present (Ex.MAN/AUTO) as active. 1: Jumps to the screen directory page. 2: Displays tool feed position in inches. 3: Touch button to manually enter tool feed start position or touch red AUTO to enter current position. 4: Tool Feed Rate - Amount of tool feed rate expressed in percentage of pressure value set in item #13. - Maximum value = 100% 5: Tool Feed Pressure - Pressure (PSI) at which the feed system operates at. Maximum value = 600. 6: Allows user to set a time at which feed system automatically retracts. Maximum value - 10000.0 seconds. 7: Automatic Size Control - ON/OFF pushbutton. 8: Enables user to delay ASC probing by selectable time to prevent premature plug gauge wear. Must be less than cycle time. 9: User selectable feed position at which an alarm appears as a reminder to check stones. 10: User selectable amount added to feed to compensate for stone wear. 11: User selectable interval at which stone wear compensation is made. 9

FIXTURE SETUP SCREEN NOTE: Red indicator light on buttons signal when active, or if second item is present (Ex.MAN/AUTO) as active. 1: Jumps to the screen directory page. 2: Home servos manually. 3: Jog fixture to next sequential cylinder. 4: Turns off all servo sequences when pressed. 5: Honing mode - Pressing button switches between ALL CYLINDERS and 1 CYLINDER. 6: Pressing button allows you to "jump" immediately to any particular cylinder. 7: Automatic Size Control - OFF/ON pushbutton. 8: Enables user to delay ASC probing by selectable time to prevent premature plug gauge wear. Must be less than cycle time. 9: Displays current stroker/column position in inches. 10: Displays honing time in Min/Sec. During runout, displays runout stroke count. 11: Jumps to troubleshooting screen. 12: Clock - To adjust, touch clock and adjust accordingly. 13: Status box - Displays current machine status. 14: Alarm - A yellow or red alarm appears here during alarm condition.
