We bring good things to life. Zoneline Packaged Terminal Units PRELIMINARY

Zoneline Package Terminal Air Conditioners Versatile Zoneline units provide year-round comfort with individual heating and cooling temperature controls for economy and convenience. Designed for a wide range of applications, Zoneline units are ideal for hotels and motels, office buildings, schools and apartments. Zoneline is also a popular choice for remodeling and room additions because it s easy to install with no need for ductwork or piping. Plus, the attractive design blends well with virtually any architectural style and interior decor. The GE line of packaged terminal air conditioners include Premium models with new pressure-sensitive tactile controls. The Value models with two fan motors offer cooling with resistance heat only and cooling with heat pump and resistance heat back-up. The Premium line has two fan motors and provides cooling with heat pump and resistance heat back-up and reverse cycle defrost. All Zoneline units feature the exclusive General Electric Superseal system which minimizes energy usage by eliminating air infiltration. The result is maximum operating efficiency and a more comfortable room. Zoneline offers low initial investment and low operating costs, too. The temperature may be adjusted to the preference of the occupant or limited by the owner or manager. No energy is wasted by heating or cooling areas that are not in use; since each unit is operated only as needed. Efficient EER's as high as 12.0 COP's as high as 3.5 Quiet Lower Sound Level Lower Sound Transmission Reliable Improved Temperature Controls Improved Corrosion Protection Microcomputer Controls

Zoneline Features & Benefits Easy Installation Zoneline models are designed for easy installation, whether in new construction, renovation or for replacement of old units. Unless specified by code, they require no sub-base and may be installed flush with the finished floor. All models are adaptable to remote and central desk control. Zoneline units may even be placed in unusual locations, such as transom or common area installations. The exclusive, Quick Connect power supply kit on Premium series models allows the units to be installed on various amperage circuits and matches resistance heat output to circuit size. Compatibility with existing Zoneline wall cases simplifies retrofit installations. An RAK901L wall case insulation kit is available to improve the thermal characteristics of existing wall cases. When replacing older Zoneline units in existing wall cases, this insulation kit will reduce heat loss through the surfaces of the wall case. It will initiate a defrost cycle based on critical information like, accumulated continuous compressor running time, the outdoor air temperature, the outdoor coil temperature, and the rate of temperature change of the outdoor coil. Quick Heat Recovery This feature minimizes any concerns a room occupant might raise about a heat pump s discharge air temperature. The microcomputer provides electric resistance heat whenever the unit is turned on in the heating mode. Once the desired temperature has been achieved, it is maintained by the heat pump. Electric Resistance Heat Lock Out The microcomputer disables the heaters whenever the outdoor temperature is above 46 degrees and decreases operating costs by maintaining energyefficient heat pump operation. Electronic Temperature Limiting Temperature Limiting is achieved via concealed switches. Simultaneous Supplemental Heat The highly-advanced microcomputer reacts precisely to changing conditions by monitoring Internal Condensate Removal System This feature is available on Zoneline 3200 and 5200 heat pumps. It is designed to help dissipate the condensation which occurs during cold weather heat pump operation and associated defrost cycles. Moisture from winter-time heat pump condensation is collected on the exterior side. A small pump circulates the water upward and allows it to flow down onto the inner coil, where the indoor and outdoor air temperatures as well as the indoor and outdoor coil temperatures. This system maintains a high state of energy efficiency by the warmth speeds evaporation and raises the indoor humidity level. The ICR System reduces condensation overflow and minimizes the possible need for expensive condensate drainage systems. This feature is especially suitable for multi-story buildings for renovation or remodeling and for replacement of older COIL DISTRIBUTOR INDOOR COIL WEATHER BARRIER deciding when to utilize heat pump operation, electric resistance heat operation, or both All by itself, without user input! units, where heat pump efficiency is desired. The installation of an internal or external drain system is recommended if no dripping of condensate to the outdoors is desired. ICR must not be installed in seacoast or corrosive applications.
