Cultural Landscapes of Water: Heritage and the Future 3.2 Notes for thinking. 1 Awareness and Education Great demonstrative force in the practices of sustainable management of resources, cultural legacy and respect for nature. 2 Heritage Recognition Water landscapes are inserted in spaces privileged by environmental and cultural protection. 3 Fragility To maintain these landscapes, people are necessary. It is important to sustain traditional socioeconomic structures to enjoy authentic cultural landscapes, but Let's empower people! How to improve them? At what cost? Do all the agents agree? Can the past be the future?
