The park should a ract people on a daily basis, all year round, not just for large events; It needs a freshness to both programming and ameni es to a ract the crea ve/young professional crowd and future residents; It should offer a rac ons and ac vi es to the people who are already in this part of downtown office workers, hotel guests, tourists, transit users, congrega ons of nearby churches; The park needs a unique flair to make it special and give it a splash ; Improvements should support residen al uses as development comes to this part of downtown; Area cultural ins tu ons should be featured and present; This is a focused renova on around uses, not a big, capital intensive re- design.
