Uncrate and inspect element pieces. Notify Persona of any damage. Note: use extreme care when handling / assembling arch pieces to avoid causing damage to fiberglass. 2. RCE legs will have plates welded on both ends. Attach legs to each arch section using supplied bolts. 3. Verify exact position of RCE on wall ledge with GC and site plan. Short arch leg (with shroud) should be center justified with wall column below it. If site conditions do not allow for this, call Persona for further direction. 4. Determine distance from wall to back edge of legs. If necessary, cut off sq tie-back tubes & touch up paint on ends. Ensure there is at least 2 of overlap between the two tie-back sections for bolting together (see pg 2). Tie-back brackets have an adjustable range from 7 ½ - 12 overall length. Note: smaller tube bracket mounts to wall. 13 ½ C L 5. Attach tie-back assembly to left (short) leg with supplied hardware (see pg 2). See above sketch for placement. Secure the sleeve sections of tie-back tubes to the desired length (as determined from step 4) & drill one 9/16 hole through both tie back tubes. Install shroud back (only) onto tie-back tube (see shroud assembly sketch). Bolt tubes together with supplied hardware (see pg 2). Seal all mounting bolts / holes in tie-back assemblies AND openings between 1 ½ and 2 tie-back tubes with silver colored, 1-part polyurethane sealant appropriate for mating surfaces (see pg 4). 6. Using straps and spreader bar, lift element onto wall ledge. Ensure legs are level in both directions. Mark & drill 5/16 pilot holes for base plates (4 per leg). Shim bottom plates (only) with silver painted steel or aluminum, if leg height adjustment is needed. Fill pilot holes with sealant & secure legs to tower with ½ x 4 stainless steel lag screws (Persona supplied), or alternative stainless steel hardware for mounting surface (installer to supply, if necessary). 7. Determine and mark center of wall elevation below element. Place the far edge of the short, dummy leg's base plate 6' 4 ¾ to the right of the center mark (see above). Ensure that the front of the dummy leg is in line with the fronts of the other three RCE legs. Attach dummy leg as noted in step 6. NOTE: if no Wordmark sign is to be installed, this step can be eliminated. 4 SQ RCE LEG TIE-BACK ASSEMBLY 6 SHROUD BACK HAS 3 HOLE TO FIT OVER 2 SQ TIE-BACK TUBE 4 SQ TUBE LEGS BOTTOM 8. Center, right, & dummy RCE legs each have (2) 9/16 pre-drilled holes and (1) ½ rivnut. Follow Wordmark installation instructions on page 5 to attach Wordmark sign & tie-back assemblies to these legs. If no Wordmark sign is to be installed, use supplied ½ x 5 ½ zinc plated thru-bolts to attach tie-back assemblies to these legs. Complete tie-back assemblies for each leg, as noted in step 5. Install the supplied ½ x 1 ½ zinc-plated bolts in the rivnuts. 9. Mark & drill 5/16 pilot holes in back wall for tie-back plates (see pg 2). Fill pilot holes with sealant & secure plates to wall with appropriate hardware (hardware kit supplied by persona). Note: if mounting to corrugated wall surface, see additional instructions on pg 3. 10. Ensure all bolts in base plates & tie back plates are tight. Clean out any debris in & around mounting holes. Fill in entire hole cavity for all mounting bolts using silver colored, 1-part polyurethane sealant appropriate for mating surfaces. Tool sealant smooth to eliminate air pockets & ensure contact to both joint surfaces. Clean off any excess sealant to create finished look (see pg 4). SHROUD FRONT SITS AGAINST FRONT EDGE OF BASE PLATE SHROUD ASSEMBLY ATTACH SHROUD BACK / COVER TO BENT TABS ON FRONT SECTION, USING PROVIDED #8-18 5/8 SQ DRIVE PAN HEAD SCREWS 30 ROOF ELEMENT 11. Install shroud front around short leg with supplied hardware ( see shroud assembly sketch). Secure shroud back to shroud front with supplied screws. 12. Touch up any paint on sign, bolts or structure as required. 13. Clean area & dispose of installation debris off-premise.

WALL MOUNT BRACKET SEAM LOCATION 16-4 15/16 SIGN SEAM LOCATION ACCESS HOLE BEHIND n 2-0 8 OD 1. Uncrate and inspect sign. Remove the letter n access panel cover from the nald's section by removing the #10-18x5/8 zinc plated pan-head, self tapping screws located on the top and bottom of the wire way channel ( see figure 2, pg 6). Make a temporary electrical connection between the McDo and nald's sections to test light sign. Refer to figure 4, pg 6 for Scotch Lok connector signs, to determine how to make all electrical connections. Notify Persona if any damage. 15-10 3/4.080 ALUMINUM WALL MOUNT BRACKET (LOCATE & DRILL 9/16 HOLES TO MATCH BOTTOM PRE- DRILLED HOLES & RIVNUTS IN RCE LEGS) 5. Lift the nald's mounting bracket and insert the left end into the completed McDo section. Ensure that there is no gap between the mounting brackets. Mark & drill (2) 9/16 holes in the mounting bracket to match the bottom thru-hole & the rivnut in the dummy RCE leg. Use supplied ½ x 5 ½ zinc plated thru-bolts to attach mounting bracket AND tie-back plates to the leg; use supplied ½ x 1 ½ zinc plated bolts to attach mounting bracket to rivnut (see figure 3, pg 7). Complete tie-back assemblies as noted in step 5 (page 1). 2. Disconnect any electrical connections to the power supply (disconnect temporary connections made to test light sign) power supplies remain in mounting bracket. Disconnect the two sign sections from the mounting brackets by removing the #10-18x5/8 zinc plated pan-head, self tapping screws located on the top and bottom of the wire way channels. 3. Determine and mark 22 1/16 left of center of wall elevation below display (see pg 1). Lift the McDo mounting bracket; position so it is level and vertically centered on the bottom thru-hole & the ½ rivnut in the middle RCE leg and so the right edge is flush with the mark left of center on the wall below. Mark & drill (2) 9/16 holes in the mounting bracket to match the bottom thru-hole & the rivnut in the RCE leg. Use supplied ½ x 5 ½ zinc plated thru-bolts to attach mounting bracket AND tie-back plates to the leg; use supplied ½ x 1 ½ zinc plated bolts to attach mounting bracket to rivnut (see figure 3, pg 7). Complete tie- back assemblies as noted in step 5 (page 1). 6. Lift nald's sign section into position so the two sign sections are flush together (see figure 6, pg 7). Be sure to secure the n to the frame so it isn't damaged during lifting. Line up the screw holes in the top and bottom of the sign channel and mounting bracket. Attach the sign channel to the mounting bracket using the #10-18x5/8 zinc plated pan-head, self tapping screws that were removed earlier. (16 required to complete sign). Ensure the sign is level and plumb. 7. Make the required electrical connections ( see figure 4, pg 6) from the McDo and nald's sections to the power supply through the access hole in the wire way channel behind the letter n ( see figure 2, pg 6). Re-attach the letter n access cover to the wire way channel using the #10-18x5/8 zinc plated pan-head, self tapping screws that were removed earlier (4 required). Installer to make final electrical connections to primary power, if licensed to do so. Test light sign. 4. Lift McDo sign section and position so screw holes line up with the holes in the top and bottom of the ELECTRICAL SPECIFICATIONS: 1. ILLUMINATION: WHITE LEDS 2. POWER SUPPLY: (2) LED POWER SUPPLIES 3. LOAD: 1.30 AMPS 4. CIRCUITS: (1) 20 AMP - 120 VOLT mounting bracket. Mounting bracket will slide inside wire way channel on sign back, (see figure 5, pg 7). Attach the sign channel to the mounting bracket using the #10-18x5/8 zinc plated pan-head, self tapping screws that were removed earlier. (10 required at this time). WORDMARK - RCE MOUNT THIS SIGN IS INTENDED TO BE INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF ARTICLE 600 OF THE NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE AND / OR APPLICABLE LOCAL CODES. THIS INCLUDES PRO GROUNDING AND BONDING OF THE SIGN. 8. Touch up any paint on sign, bolts, or structure as required. Clean area & dispose of installation debris off-premise. GENERAL NOTES: 1. THE INSTALLER SHALL VERIFY ALL CONDITIONS AND DIMENSIONS. 2. THE INSTALLER SHALL PROVIDE MOUNTING HARDWARE AS REQUIRED. 3.
