CEN/TC 256 Committee structure Plenary meetings held twice a year 3 sub committees for Infrastructure, Rolling Stock products and Rolling Stock systems A Chairman s Advisory Group Sub committees and the directly reporting working groups also meet twice a year 37 active Working Groups with a further 10 currently disbanded due to no active work 3

Developments in 2016 Autumn 2016 TC 256 Secretary (Ruediger Wendt) stood down Heike Kuehn appointed as new Committee Secretary Plenary meeting held in November (Utrecht) Approved publication of New Convenors Guide First edition of Convenors Bulletin December 2016 New Convenors Guide published First edition of Convenors Bulletin published Migration Strategy approved 11
