Conclusion According to the test results, it has been proved that this material has a considerable antibacterial activity equal to 99,98% against Staphilococcus Aureus, Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginiosa, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Salmonella. The antibacterial properties of microfiber can be guaranteed up to about 500 washings. AB-PLUS ANTIBACTERIAL PLASTIC MATERIALS Plastic materials containing silver ions prevent the proliferation of bacteria (test results available). Antibacterial polypropylene and polyamide have been tested in chemical laboratory according to the ISO 22196;2007 standard to check the antibacterial activity with samples of Staphilococcus Aureus and Escherichia coli. Conclusion Polyamide: according to the test results it has been demonstrated that this material presents an antibacterial activity equal to 99,72% against Staphylococcus Aureus ATCC 6538 and equal to 99,82% against Escherichia Coli ATCC 8739. Polypropylene: according to the test results it has been shown that this material presents an antibacterial activity equal to 99,28% against Staphylcoccus Aureus ATCC 6538 and equal to 99.98% against Escherichia Coli ATCC 8739 This antibacterial properties are guaranteed for maximum 5 years from manufacturing date.
