6 electrolux Braising pans Heating system Thanks to their excellent heating system thermaline braising pans guarantee an even process in a short time, with great cooking results. Power block cooking surface The cooking surface is composed of a compound plate and heating elements casted in Aluminium. Compound: AISI 316 stainless steel on the cooking surface to resist corrosion and mild steel to assure the ideal thermal inertia and no deformation even in the worst conditions Heating elements casted in Aluminium to have a uniform heat distribution, fast reaction and to keep lower temperature on the heating elements for guaranteing a longer life Electronic control The electronic control is able to adjust the power according to the cooking mode selected: it keeps always the required temperature. Frying operating mode When the nominal temperature is higher than 110 C (as for a frytop or a braising pan). The control takes place via the bottom sensor, located underneath the pan. Even in this case, the power is supplied as and when required to keep the set temperature value without exceeding it Cooking operating mode When the nominal temperature is equal or lower than 110 C (as in a boiling pan). The control is via the food sensor located in the external side wall of the pan. Thanks to the electronic control the power is supplied as and when required to keep the set temperature value Pressure function In this case the appliance registers the temperature inside the unit and changes automatically from bottom to side-placed sensor, in order to control the right pressure into the cooking chamber Reduced sticking effect of the surface thanks to the shot peening process High quality deep drawn cooking well. electrolux Braising pans 9 Other features: The control panel with set, real value temperature and cooking time is easy to read even from a distance The temperature and cooking time are always visible, while the advanced functions appear by selecting the utility push button Acoustic signal is activated at the end of each cooking cycle Self-diagnostic system and corresponding warning are activated in case of malfunctions The low voltage electric system assures operators and equipment to work always in safe conditions Temperature Soft function: The Soft function is ideal for foods which tend to dry and stick while cooking at maximum power. When it is activated, the heating energy is automatically regulated according to the consistency of the food. The mixing action is necessary only for blending the ingredients while ensuring uniform heating. Time Power Time Power control: This function is ideal for cooking delicate foods at a temperature of 100 C. It is possible to heat foods in a very short time, and having reached a temperature of 100 C, minimum supply power is needed to keep the water boiling. The pre-set energy is supplied to the food after boiling has been reached. A different power level can be selected by setting a value from L1 (6% of maximum power) to L9 (100% of the power).
