4 electrolux Boiling pans Main Features thermaline boiling pans are the ideal solution when you need to prepare soups, creams, purèes and rices in large quantities while maintaining excellent quality. High speed technology Thanks to the indirect heating system with steam at a working pressure of 1,5 bar (124 C). The heat up time is automatically reduced, up to 40% in comparison with other boiling pans at 0,5 bar (111 C). Unique design The unique design is given by the new control panel, which is on the right column; this position keeps the electronic components separate from the rest of the appliance for more protection and easy maintenance. Additional protection of the control panel is guaranteed by its deep drawn inclined position and ergonomic shape. Shape The larger surface of the pan assures: Ideal heat distribution, thanks to the wider heat exchanging surface The possibility to cook with small amounts of food An easy stirring process Sturdiness Models ranging from 60 to 300 lt. models are constructed in a deep drawn unique piece in high quality stainless steel 1.4435 BN2 (no welding points) Internal frame in stainless steel. External panelling in AISI 304 stainless steel with Scotch Brite Satin finish Models with a capacity up to 200 lt. have a deep drawn well constructed in one single piece (3 mm thick) Tilting support in AISI 304 stainless steel Safety Low voltage electric system guarantees a longer life of the internal components Low temperature zone on the upper rim of the cooking well to avoid the risk of burning and foaming Possible installations: Freestanding models: - on stainless steel plinth - on masonry plinth - on wheels - on feet - against a wall Wall mounted models: only directly fixed to the wall Upstand possible as an option Lid The lid of the boiling pan is double insulated and counter balanced which keeps it open when necessary thus saving energy while reducing heat emission.

6 electrolux Boiling pans Heating system Thanks to their excellent heating system thermaline boiling pans guarantee an even cooking process in a short time, with great cooking results. Cooking surface The heating system, available on all models, assures a uniform and fast heat distribution on all the heating surfaces. This guarantees that all the food is cooked to the same degree Thanks to this heating system it is possible to complete the cooking process in short times even with a reduced quantity of food Precise control Accurate temperature in each level thanks to the automatic and precise power regulation. Indirect heating system The indirect heating system with steam at a working pressure of 1,5 bar (124 C), reduces heat up time to reach boiling point, up to about 40% vs 0,5 bar (111 C). Food sensor The temperature sensor is located in a lower position to allow for a precise measurement even with low liquid levels. Closed heating system No need for periodical refilling of the double jacket (less installation costs) No lime on the heating elements, long lasting and better energy efficiency Low temperature zone safe for the operator Easy cleaning The safety valve and the new ventilation system are integrated in the panels. The control panel has been designed to be clear and comprehensive at the first sight, from a distance and to operate in absolute comfort. electrolux Boiling pans 9 Temperature Soft function: The Soft function is ideal for delicate foods which tend to stick such as milk-based foods. When it is activated, the heating energy is automatically regulated according to the consistency of the food. Time Temperature Hold function: The Hold function is necessary when needing to first cook foods at 100 C temperature and then continuing to hold at a lower temperature. When this function is activated the food is quickly heated to simmering temperature and then the energy supply is switched off. The food then cools and is kept at the HOLD temperature which has previously been set. Time Power Time Power control: This function is ideal for cooking delicate foods at a temperature of 100 C. It is possible to heat foods in a very short time, and having reached a temperature of 100 C, minimum supply power is needed to keep the water boiling. The pre-set energy is supplied to the food after boiling has been reached. A different power level can be selected by setting a value from L1 (6% of maximum power) to L9 (100% of the power).
