This delightful house was understood to have been built in 1954, and the entire property has been renovated to create a wonderful contemporary home that still retains character and charm.
We purchased the property from a family who had lived in it for a long time, continues Ayke, but during that time it was only basically maintained. We took the opportunity to refurbish the house adding a two-storey extension to one side and extended out to the back.
We also brought it into the 21st century with a state of the art hidden Solar system which additionally generates income with electricity feeding back into the grid and a pressurised twin tank hot water system to adequately supply the 3 bath/shower rooms.
