Flush door situations The keepers and strikes for flush door situations are not supplied with the panic exit hardware as standard. Briton series panic exit hardware accessories Briton 3 series Striker PO SLP 376 SE For flush door situations, for the top bolt. Briton 5 series Striker PO OBSK PO 5 Striker for lower vertical Pullman latch in combination with a threshold. Finish: matte black. Dogging device Briton 5 PO VZK 566 SE & PO VZK 576 UF For allowing free access. The manual and permanent hold-open function is operated by a key which holds all latches in the withdrawn position. Alarm switch Briton 3 PO EKM SE End cases with an integrated alarm switch are available as an option. This allows the panic device to be integrated with an alarm system that immediately gives a signal when unauthorised use is made of the escape exit. The door can therefore not be opened without the alarm being activated. The system operates on 24-volt DC current, 1.4 amps. Alarm switch Briton 5 PO AS 566 UF & PO AS 576 AK For incorporating the panic device in an electronic alarm system. The alarm is activated upon opening the door. Dogging device Briton 3 PO EKV SE An end case with integrated dogging device for keeping the escape exit door unlocked for an extended period of time to permit free access. The latch bolts are fixed in the withdrawn position, also when the door is pushed into the frame. The mechanism must be released manually in order to let the door lock back into the frame. This feature must not be used on fire and smoke-resistant doors! Briton 3 Bar extension kit The 1900 mm-long upper bar PO VBS 190 SE can be used for doors that require the push bar at a lower position e.g. in schools. Also applicable on doors higher than 2500 mm, up to a maximum door height of 3350 mm. Important!: Doors over 2500 mm high fall outside of the scope of EN 1125 and EN 179. Briton 5 Bar extension kit PO VBS 576 SE For extending the upper Pullman latch in situations where the push bar/touch bar must be placed at a lower location e.g. in schools. The Briton 5 series devices with an extended bar can be applied to doors up to 3350 mm high. Doors higher than 2500 mm fall outside of the scope of EN 1125. Finish: silver.

Panic hardware accessories for the DX series Alarm switch DX 2-serie PO EKM 294 An end case with an alarm switch, allowing the panic push bar to be linked to an alarm system. It is prohibited by law to use a dogging device on fire-resistant doors. The application of the anti-dogging device nullifies compliance with the EN 1125/179 standards and CE classification. DX 2 series anti-dogging device PO ABS 294 This mechanism is placed below the upper latch. When the latch bolts are withdrawn, the mechanism blocks the upper latch and all the latches are held in the withdrawn position. The latches are blocked by pressing the valve. Extending vertical bar PO VBS 190 DX Extra- long upper rod for doors over 2440 mm high, up to 3140 mm max.
