RAID-M 100 Hand-held Chemical Agent Monitor Innovation with Integrity Defence CBRNE

RAID-M 100 used in the Field The RAID-M 100 provides very low detection limits and short response times. Due to the state of the art measuring cell and highly sophisticated software nerve agents can be detected at lowest levels. Short recovery times are achieved by an automatic purge mode. Data logging system The RAID-M 100 is a hand held Chemical Agent Detector based on the well established principle of Ion Mobility Spectrometry. It is designed to detect, search for and locate Chemical Warfare Agents (CWA) on personnel, equipment, vehicles and on the ground. Applications within collective protection facilities are also possible. The RAID-M 100 is equipped with a data logging system that is capable of continuous data monitoring. The two integrated data loggers are able to record independently from each other individual spectra (Spectrum-Logger) as well as the results of a measurement campaign (Event-Logger). Both can be configured independently. The capacity of the event logger is about 3000 events that can be stored, whereas the spectrum logger keeps 30 full spectra for subsequent inspection e.g. of unknown compounds. Access to such data is possible via the standard software RAID EventReader, no additional software is necessary. General specification The RAID-M 100 is able to detect, classify and identify, quantify and continuously monitor concentration levels of the CWA s specified. The identity of substances detected is displayed by its standard code (GA, VX, etc.) or its appropriate abbreviation (e.g. GSI for the G-mode simulant). For each class (G, H and T) a separate bar line is provided, thus all the classes may be monitored independently. Hazard levels are indicated by an incremental bar level display with eight increments. Moreover the RAID-M 100 gives an audible and an optical alarm when identifying an agent. Reliable Mobile Detector Basic set Confidence tester for both modes Transport and storage container Protective bag 1 Li-Ion rechargeable battery pack RAID-M 100 Carrying sling Battery charger Li-lon/ EU with battery adapter Manual Data and power cable with power supply 12 VDC / RS232 Portable and one handed to operate The RAID-M 100 is portable with a carrying sling. Likewise it can be installed on a vehicle and ship mounting. In addition the equipment is capable of operation within collective protection facilities. Vehicle and shipboard integration Remote control unit and vehicle mounting are offered as optional components to support the vehicle or shipboard installations of RAID-M 100 instruments. By means of an EMC unit the RAID-M 100 can be powered with 12 32 V. Protected from any hazardous chemicals the soldier, fireman or any other user easily operates the RAID-M 100 from inside the vehicle or ship. RAID-M 100 with vehicle mounting Remote Control Unit
