FIRECEL SR 114H is the long and well established CAVICEL fire resistant cable in the market, since many years. These cables are third party approved by LPCB according to BS 7629 that includes BS 6387 cat. CWZ. They are included in BS 5839 (Fire detection and alarm systems for buildings. Code of practice for system design, installation and servicing). Conductor Plain annealed copper to BS 6360 Solid (class 1) for 1-1,5-2,5 sqmm* Stranded (class 2) for 4 sqmm * 2.5 sqmm is available with stranded conductor (class 2) Insulation High performance silicone rubber EI 2 to BS 7655: section 1.1 Earth Conductor Tinned annealed copper to BS 6360 (drain wire for multicore cables) Electrostatic Screen Aluminium/polyester tape 125% coverage Sheath Thermoplastic zero halogen, low smoke, flame retardant, abrasion resistant Type LTS3 to BS 7655: section 6.1 Features and Advantages LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) Construction Combustion gases with very low toxicity, low smoke emission, and no corrosive gas, for the safeguard of human life. Do not propagate flame Limiting the spread of the fire along the cable run, flame barriers can be avoided or reduced. Pliable Very flexible construction that makes the installation very easy in all conditions. Protected against electrostatic noise Cable is fully screened. Moisture Resistant No special terminations are required to prevent moisture absorption. It can be installed in damp environments. Suitable for data transmission Twisting of conductors make the cable suitable for clear data transmission. Easy to install with low cost No special tools and special training are neccessary. A cheap and effective cable stripper is available to simplify installation. Easy to handle. Nice packaging Available in nice 100 m reel for a convenient storing and handling. Available also in continuous long lengths. Quality Assurance In order to satisfy QA requirements, traceability is assured by batch number printed on outer jacket. All reels have the evidence of testing. Customised design Cables can be manufactured with special features according to customer requirements (jacket colour, identification printing).
