Behind the scenes, there are several individuals who volunteer their time, knowledge, efforts to bring to us quality events. I am sure that you would agree with me that our monthly meetings have been held by knowledgeable speakers presenting interesting topics. This effort would not have been possible without the support of our Program Chair, Manny Martinez. Our Web Master Bob Harrison and Sergei Seleznev kept you promptly informed about the Section events. Our second table top show, Automation OC, was a success thanks to the Board Members and students from Cal State Long Beach and Orange Coast College lead by Raj Adani. Bis Mitra, our Arrangements Chair, did an excellent job by inviting sponsors and exhibitors who helped funding our Section and the table top show. Ed Naranjo, our Secretary, and Rafael Agrazsanchez, our Treasurer, helped maintaining the day to day activities needed to keep our Section functioning, just to mention a few of them, documenting the meeting activities, keeping accurate financial records, filing taxes, etc. Robert Castano, liaison to Orange Coast College and Walter Martinez, liaison to Cal State Long Beach were an important bridge that kept us informed about student activities and their projects, in return, our Section helped finance their projects. Hiten Dalal coordinate with ISA Instructor, Neil Finch, to bring you a helpful hands on Education Seminar on Field Instrument Calibration that was a success. Our Past Presidents, Don Zee, John Querido, Craig Lanternier and Sebastian Zielonka also supported our Section with their experience, knowledge and advise when needed. I am confident that our Section will keep growing under the lead of our President Elect, Fred McEachen. This has been a learning experience for me and rest assured that I have enjoyed serving you as Section President, thank you for giving me this opportunity. Program Chair Manny Martinez Fluor Corp.
