Blower ime Selection Domestic ater Priority hermostat anticipator setting HEO OF OPEAION he A300 is shipped with a 90 second fan delay. o select a 80 second fan delay locate the delay timing jumper and move it to the 80 second position. he A300 relay has built-in domestic hot water priority logic. hen domestic hot water is demanded and the thermostats are calling for room heating, the circulators and blowers for zones and turn off, the boiler/burner and the priority circulator turn on until the hot water demand has been satisfied. If thermostats are in the cool mode, normal operation is not interrupted with a domestic hot water demand. If domestic hot water is required, the A300 turns on the boiler/burner control and the priority circulator (see Figure-4). Measure the amp draw of the 4 Vac input circuit. Set the thermostat anticipator to the same reading. he A300 relay is controlled by two low voltage single stage heat/single stage cool thermostats. he thermostats energize terminals and when a call for heat occurs. hermostat alling For Heat (,, and terminals are made) relay contacts close turning on the Boiler/Burner controller or low voltage load, circulator or line voltage load. After a 90 or 80 second delay the zone fan/blower is turned on. hermostat Not alling For Heat (,, and terminals are not made) relay contacts open turning off the Boiler/Burner controller or low voltage load, circulator or line voltage load. he zone fan/blower is turned off. hermostat alling For ooling (, and terminals are made) relay contacts close turning on the system compressor and fan/blower. hermostat Not alling For ooling (, and terminals are not made) relay contacts open turning off the system compressor and fan/blower. N O E operates identical to zone. Blower ime Selection N O E Blower time delay only applies to heat mode operations. he A300 incorporates a user selectable 90 or 80 seconds fan delay. his delay allows the hot water coil to warm before the blower engages. Domestic ater Priority hen domestic hot water (DH) is called for and the thermostats are calling for room heating, the circulator and blower for zones and turn off. he boiler/burner and the priority circulator turn on until the hot water demand has been satisfied. If the thermostats are in the cool mode normal operation will not be interrupted by a DH demand. Electronic hermostats All relays are compatible with electronic thermostats requiring and 3 wire (4 VA common terminal) connections. hermostats must turn on heat () and fan () terminals on a call for heat. MAINENANE 6 he A300 requires no maintenance. eplace defective units. egular maintenance of the total system is recomended to assure sustained, optimum performance.
