In 2010 the spotlight will be on innovations At last: fieldbus infrastructure with complete intrinsic safety FieldConnex has made it possible: DART Fieldbus technology with intrinsically safe High-Power Trunk and spurs maximizes cable length and field device numbers. Trunk and spur cables can be laid together. And investment security is not an issue: all current Entity field devices will fit one per spur as long as they are certified for intrinsic safety (Exib). A further show highlight this year is WirelessHART. Last year Pepperl+Fuchs used their presentation mainly to address the technological aspects of WirelessHART, but now the first commercial products are available.
