PROPERTIES DUO-FAN BALL BEARING CORROSION RESISTANT STRENGTH WEATHER RESISTANT FIT ANY ROOF CAPACITY Unique Duo - Fan construction where the supports for the lower bearing also act as fan blades which enhance the flow of ir through the intake of the ventilator improving overall performance. Micro steel conceal bearing 08-2RS is design to spin at high speed and the ball bearing will float creating friction free. The ozvent ventilator is manufactured from high grade aluminium (Grade AA00) including the rivets and shaft, therefore highly resistant to atmospheric corrosion. Where steel parts are necessary they are either zinc, nickle or cadium plated to ensure they match the corrosion resistance of the aluminium. The Ozvent ventilator is double rivetted to provide extra strenght ans is designed with internal bracing to withstand winds in excess of 5 km/hr (see over). The corrugated die pressed vane shape provides more strenght, stability and uniformity. The design of the aerofoil vanes ensures rainwater drains away from the ventilator. The vane shape combined with the rotation of the ventilator creates continuous outward movement of air preventing any rainwater from entering the Ozvent ventilator. Vari - pitch base fits any roos from 0-45 degrees and can be easily adjusted. (300 ozvent only) A huge capacity increase compared to all previous ventilators. This gives the industrial architect a greater flexibility in designing industrial buildings. WEIGHT The home BS ventilators are extreamly lightweight (the BS400 is only 4.8kg, BS 40 is only 5.5kg and the BS 00 only 9kg) to provide strong ventilators that will operate at very light wind speeds, At these weights the BS 40, BS 00 are less then 50% of the weight of the equivalant size steel ventilator. This not only means better performance in light winds but also means that the roof structure may not require reinforcement to mount the Horne BS ventilators. VANE DESIGN The vanes are profiled and rolled to provide a strong blade with good aerodynamic performance. ALUMINUM CONSTRUCTION STAINLESS STEEL SHAFT All aluminium construction including the waterproof rivets provide a lightweight, easily rotated ventilator suitable for most industrial enviroments. The Shaft is strong but lightweight 304 Stainless Steel to provide a corrosion free backbone for the ventilator.
