ITI Caretaker Basic Commands System can be accessed by telephone or wireless keypad Zones - Up to 30 Wireless or 24 Hardwired Battery - 12 volt 1.9 amp rechargeable Lead-Acid inside main panel, only found at local Protection One service branch because of non-standard size Note: AC Transformer is 14 volts Wireless - Yes Wireless Batteries - 3.5 volt Lithium LS14250, do NOT replace batteries or sensors MAY erase Downloadable - No Panic Buttons - Police Panic, press ****** on telephone, Keypad Panic activated with * and # Status - * and # on telephone, for complete status * Master Code # 1 Arm Away - * + 4 digit code + 3 (AWAY) "Alarm System is ON, Level 3.." Arm Stay - * + 4 digit code + 2 (STAY) "Alarm System is ON, Level 2.." Disarming - * + 4 digit code + 1 (OFF) "Alarm System is OFF, Level 1.." Instant Doors - Arm system, press 6 (INSTANT) Direct Bypass - Arm system, press * + 4-digit code + Zone (01-30) Force Bypass - Open zone (door or window), arm system, keypad will beep, press 4, system will say "Alarm System is ON, Level 2 (or 3), Sensor Bypassed" Any bypassed zones will return to normal when system disarmed Memory - * + Master Code + # + 5 Door Chimes - * + Master Code + # + 2 (CHIME), "Chime is ON" or "Chime is OFF" Phone Test - * + Master Code + 8 Sensor Test 1. * <Master Code> # 9 and leave phone off hook 2. Open each door or window one at a time 3. Push walk test light on motion, trip smoke sensors 4. When all sensors are tested panel will say "All Sensors Test ok" Remote Telephone Access - Customer can access panel remotely by letting phone ring 12 times, panel will ask for 4-digit code, phone works like regular keypad OR (If programmed) Call home phone, let phone ring twice, hang up, wait 10 seconds, call again, panel should answer and ask for 4-digit code

ITI Caretaker User Codes Changing Master Code - * + Old Master Code + # + 8, system will read off old code, press * + New Master Code Note: If * key conflicts with phone equipment press # + new code, panel access will start with # instead Secondary Code - There are no secondary codes Hostage/Duress Code - First 2-digits of User Code + 99

ITI Caretaker Trouble Siren will beep 8 times per minute in the event of a trouble, pick up phone or push TROUBLE on keypad Low Battery - Sensor will erase programming if batteries are changed Main Panel Display - Main Panel has 2 lights on outside cover System OK LED - ON = System Okay, Blinking = System Test or Trouble, OFF = Major Failure Armed Status LED - ON = Armed AWAY, Blinking = Armed STAY, OFF = Disarmed Panel says Trouble 00 - Main panel lost memory, set for service Main Troubles and Events - 80 Touchpad Fire Panic 81 Touchpad Police Panic 82 Touchpad Auxiliary Panic 83 Phone Test (Level 8) 84 Opening Report (Optional) 85 Closing Report (Optional) 86 Duress Alarm Report 87 Force Armed Auto 90 AC Failure 91 Low Battery 92 CPU Tamper 93 Auto Phone Test 94 Receiver Failure (Try changing batteries) 94 Invalid Sensor Number 95 CPU Back in Service 96 Fail To Communicate 101 Invalid Sensor Number (fix by changing House Code) 101 = A sensor is not programmed into system but has same House Code)

ITI Caretaker Programming All programming over telephone Entering Programming #1 - Remove cover from main panel, look for single dip switch below 8-gang dip switch. toggle right to enter programming, left to exit Entering Programming #2 - * + Master Code + # + 7 + Service Code (If Service Code is unknown use dip switch method, program a Service Code in * 26 then exit programming) Note: Advantage to Service Code is ability to program sensors without using pigtail from programmer if panel lost memory House Code - 8 switch module right side of panel, add to get house code Switch to the left ON, Right OFF Switch 1 = 1 Switch 2 = 2 Switch 3 = 4 Switch 4 = 8 Switch 5 = 16 Switch 6 = 32 Switch 7 = 64 Switch 8 = 128 Example: House Code of 067 = switchs 1, 2 & 7 ON, all others OFF To Program Locations 2 29 1. * 01 + 4-digit Master Code 2. * 02 + two-digit Duress Code 3. * 03 + Entry Time (example 30) 4. * 04 + Exit Time (example 64) 5. * 18 programs Hand-held Keypad from panel (if applicable) 6. * 20 + Reciever Number (ex: 1 800 246 8910#) 7. * 22 + 3-digit Account Number 8. * 25 + Siren Timeout (06) 9. * 26 + 4-digit Service Code 10. * 29 shortens Touch-Tone time from 100 to 20 (response time) Program Sensors Remove 4 wire connector from ITI programmer, connect from Program Socket (middle of panel) to sensor, panel MUST program sensors 1. * 07 then enter all Delay sensor numbers (ex: 01, 02) 2. * 06 then enter all Instant sensor numbers (ex: 03, 04, 05) 3. * 09 then enter all Interior Follower sensor numbers (ex: 06, 07) 4. * 10 then enter any Interior Delay sensor numbers (ex: 08) 5. * 05 then enter only Fire sensor numbers (ex: 09) 6. * 18 to program Remote Keypad Note: Hardwire Sensors must learn while open, zones are from 01 to 08 only Deleting Sensors # + Zone (2-digits) Caretaker Signals Monitoring Station will receive "1" for all Fire sensors "2" for all Panics "3" for all Burglary "4" or "4" for all hand-held Panic, Fire or Medical buttons "7" Trouble on AC, Batt, or Sensor Fail or Batteries "8" Phone Test "9" Restore

ITI Programmer (SX-V, Caretaker, Commander Panels only) Press ON, programmer will say HELLO, if long tone sounds its connected backwards Connect to sensor, press READ, current sensor programming will show 1. House Code To change press HOUSE CODE (number will flash) enter new 3 digit house code then press ENTER, screen will say OK 2. Sensor (Zone) Number Press SENSOR NUMBER, (number will flash), Enter 2-digit zone number then press ENTER, screen will show OK 3. Sensor Type Press SENSOR TYPE (number will flash), Press key relating to type of sensor (1 = Door/Window Sensor etc) then press ENTER, screen will say OK If sensor says SLEEP the sensor battery is low and needs replaced Disconnect from sensor when done Caretaker - Wiring "Pigtail" must be removed and connected directly to board, the programmer cannot be used on that panel SX-V - Programmer must be put in Octal format by pressing "Sensor Number" key twice (not needed on "SX-V only" programmers)
