INTENSIVE LANGUAGE AND CULTURE FOR TEACHERS OF SPANISH The goal of this program is to offer an intensive Spanish language course designed especially for teachers of Spanish as a foreign language, teachers of bilingual or Spanish immersion programs. The course seeks to bring the participants into the worlds of teaching Spanish, providing them both with theoretical knowledge and practical tools to develop a creative and effective way of teaching in step with the new trends. Additionally, a course on Society and Culture is offered, which covers Spain s current cultural, social, political and economic topics. The purpose of all the covered content is to be applied in the courses given by the participants. PROGRAM OVERVIEW: Spanish language courses Four-hour a day classes are dynamic and participative, taught by native, trained and highly qualified teachers in smaller groups. The participating teachers do not just learn Spanish in an enjoyable way, but develop in this language by learning grammar concepts and specific vocabulary, which they will apply directly in courses that they then teach.
Spanish Society and Culture Seminar Participant will attend lectures and practical sessions on sociology and Social Change, offering a comprehensive overview of the Spanish society and culture. You will explore the fascinating Moorish architecture and learn about the history of the most visited monument in Spain. Don t miss important sites such as the Mexuar-Oratory, the Nasrid Palaces, the Golden Room, the Court of the Lions, the Palace of Charles V or the marvelous Generalife Garden. Day-trip to Córdoba 8 hours The historic quarter of Córdoba is a beautiful network of small streets, alleys, squares and whitewashed courtyards arranged around the Mosque-Cathedral, which reflects the city's prominent place in the Islamic world in the Medieval times. We will discover the Mosque-Cathedral, the Jewish Quarter and Museum of three Cultures on our trip.
Visit to Lorca Museum The Route of Federico Garcia Lorca tour offers you the opportunity to become better acquainted with the universe of this well-known poet from Granada. We will follow Lorca's footsteps and visit important locations that influenced Lorca s life. You will have the opportunity to listen to some of the most significant of Lorca s poems and visit his museum. 3 hours Flamenco Show Explore the cave neighborhood of the Sacromonte, Feel the flamenco dance in a "Zambra" or typical Sacromonte cave in the gypsy quarter. Attend a Flamenco show of ancient gypsy dances while enjoying a splendid view of the Alhambra. 3 hours Visit to Baeza- Hacienda la Laguna The whole city of Baeza is a splendid architectural ensemble of quiet streets and golden stones, where the most beautiful artifacts have been left by art and history. We will enjoy a culinary demonstration of the typical Mediterranean cuisine and wonderful lunch in La Hacienda la Laguna, a very emblematic place in Baeza. 8 hours
