Service Provider Before completing the appropriate Services Interval Record below, please ensure you have carried out the service as described in the manufacturer s instructions. IMPORTANT This Sheet Must Be Kept With Equipment Annual Service Tasks Ecodan Model. Ecodan Serial. MECHANICAL TASKS 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 Inspect and clean evaporator fins. Repair damaged fins using a fin comb if required Check visually for signs of oil leaks which may indicate a refrigerant leak (check for leaks if necessary) Check integrity of water pipe work and lagging, Repair lagging if required Check system operation Check the antifreeze and if necessary top up the concentration as per manufacturers recommendations Check and clean the fernox TFI magnetic particle filter Check system pressure Release any air from the primary/heating systems C ONTR OLLE R TAS K S 9 10 11 Check for the correct operation and temperature setting of the thermostats Check the operation of the zone valves Check the operation and the timing of the immersion heater On completion check that the whole system is working satisfactorily Mitsubishi Electric recommends that the frequency of maintenance visits to be maximum of 12 months between inspections. Frequency of maintenance may increase dependent upon the equipment and local water conditions e.g. hard water, scale forming, water containing a high proportion of solids. Failure to maintain the system to the above minimum recommendations could result in the warranty becoming null and void. Please fill in the S ervice R ecord sheet to confirm the above tasks have been carried out on the Ecodan outdoor unit.

AEI / Ecodan trained Service Engineer attends site Issue resolved? AEI / Service Engineer should contact MEUK Technical Helpdesk on 0161 866 6089 from site for fault diagnosis MEUK will replace or repair any faulty Mitsubishi Electric supplied products or components free of charge End of process End of process Issue resolved? MEUK Product Warranty Issue? Unit /Component will be sent out next day delivery, AEI / Warranty owner will be paid a labour contribution for fitting component AEI / Warranty owner needs to complete a warranty claim form then contact the warranty department on 0161 866 6089 Option 4 Replacement component required? Suspected MEUK product fault / Warranty Issue? Site visit will be chargeable at the agreed rates MEUK will attend site within 24 hours if contacted before 14.00 or 48 if after, although majority of the time this would be next day also AEI / Warranty owner needs to complete a site visit request form and purchase order then contact MEUK site service on 0161 866 6089 Option 6, Option 3 to arrange a site vist MEUK technical helpdesk will issue AEI / Service Engineer an ESVN (Engineer site visit number) AEI to resolve issue End of process End of process

Commissioning Checklist Ecodan This Commissioning Checklist is to be completed in full by the AEI who commissioned the Ecodan and associated equipment as a means of demonstrating compliance with the appropriate Building Regulations and then handed to the customer to keep for future reference. For further information, please refer to Mitsubishi Electric training literature and installation manual.
